  1. It's only a BAD habit if you view it as such Ruairidh will sleepy happily in his own bed for his naps and on his own at his Grandparents. LM-ignore theentomologist, he's just jealous that when he got stuck here due to the snow at Christmas I wouldn't let him co-sleep with Ruairidh, Al and I! He's a big lad after all.....I could hear him sobbing into the teddy bear of Ruairidh's which we had to lend him......... SD-I remembered after I posted that Thomas had the same birthday as my dad, but didn't edit my post! Mr X-good advice there.....although the on bit of advice from someone else I did listen too was from PB's very own Whistle Blower who told me, "not to hold anything said in the middle of the night against each other in the morning". Which I thought was good.
  2. You're also a smoker aren't you? As it's strongly recommended you don't. You sleep on a different 'plane' if you know what I mean and have an acute conciouness as to where they are.
  3. SD: Glad number 2 arrived safely. is No 1 1 yet or is that next week?! Thundermonkey; Congratulations, hope the wife has a smooth and healthy pregnancy. G_man: I've co slept with my child, it's much frowned upon but I did alot of research into it first. Google Helen Ball. Drop me a PM if you want to know more. Right who's nerxt?
  4. I'd have shot mine too! And we didn't have a 1 year old at home! Hope all goes well though SD!
  5. My house is an utter tip, the baby is asleep so there is no excuse not to get on with it.............maybe I'll wait till he's in nursery tomorrow afternoon......then at least he won't wake up and I'll have to stop!
  6. Got up and went to work......turned out I was still on holiday!
  7. I saw it for the first time recently too and thought the same. Congratulations, you Queens fans are fair reproducing!
  8. Adam, have you tried him on a single bed? We couldn't get Ruairidh down anywhere apart from out bed, move him to the cot and all hell broke loose. I was keen to put him on a single bed about 4 months back but everyone kept saying it was too soon. Well that was rubbish as I moved him onto his own full size single bed just after Christmas and he's sleeping great. Decided against a toddler bed as everyone I spoke to said it'd been a waste of money so his Gran and Grampa got him a single bed and I've put a bed guard on it. Anyway, I was in the attic in the pitch black looking for my nappy wraps tonight after the sillica burst out his disposables overnight due to the heavy nappy. We'll see how the washables go tonight. He can now proudly show you were his tummy is, where the planes go and where his willie is!
  9. I forgot to turn my alarm off for work. 4.45am.....and I'm wide awake!
  10. My wee ones not well and isn't interested in his presents. He's just sat and dozed on and off all day
  11. I have an ill little boy. Sitting up is the only way he's comfy as he has a chesty cough.
  12. Meant to say diabetic husband but sometime child sums him up well!
  13. We've made the decision not to travel up the A9 tomorrow. The thought of possibly being on the road for upwards of 6 hours with a baby and diabetic child didn't sound like fun.
  14. Not long to go then till number 2 arrives! You're going to have your hands full!
  15. I didn't find it much use. But as you say others swear by it.
  16. The difference is then, you're not a spoilt brat getting everything handed to you on a plate. A lesson you'll be thankful for in time
  17. b*****d, eh?! "So what's your top speed" "4.5mph" *Exhuberant runs home to mummy crying*
  18. Yup, I really want a bounce and spin Zebra but at £60 they are way over priced and there is an awful lot of them on ebay and the like leading me to think they may be a use a couple time toy.....but ebay may be my friend. I've no quams in buying second hand and giving it a thorough clean. That way if it isn't a hit I've not wasted £60 on it. Oh so many toys like that!
  19. I was thinking of a battery driven baby car thingy but I can't see how even if powered by batteries giving a 15 month old something (age 1-3 suitability) could a)be safe b.) not result in the dogs being run over!
  20. I don't know what to get the wee one for Christmas, I've seen a couple of things in the price range I was thinking about but I reckon they may be novelty and end up taking up lots of space and not being used much.
  21. I'm watching it for first time in ages, why is Lyn back?!
