  1. There was talk Richardson and Lockett were going to be ahead of him on the depth chart. We also have guys like McEvoy and Lawler. Plus I didn't realise how thin we actually are at DT. Should be a decent move. Just very unlike us to trade for defensive players
  2. Even better. We needed experience on the interior with Rubin being our only guy with any experience. Hopefully, means we can get some more sacks and take pressure off the side of the secondary that Sherman isn't playing. Contract year means it's low risk to us as well if he continues his attitude problems.
  3. Jets trade Sheldon Richardson to Seahawks for Kearse and some picks.... Kearse now the Jets #1 receiver. Going to be interesting to see how we rotate Bennett, Avril, Clark and Richardson. Perhaps Bennett to play more in the interior?
  4. Alfred Blue Man Group - Division 1 QB - Marcus Mariota RB - Ameer Abdullah, Christian McCaffrey, Darren McFadden, Jonathan Williams, Jamaal Williams, Danny Woodhead WR - Odell Beckham, Demaryius Thomas, Larry Fitzgerald, Robert Woods, Malcolm Mitchell, Kenny Golladay TE - Cameron Brate, Zach Miller
  5. That's League 1 complete. Absolute hilarity in the first few rounds, the damage that kickers (someone would have picked one 2nd round) and defences could have done might have ended me.
  6. Nope, we're near the end of round 11 in division 1. Only one on Auto-draft
  7. Thielen went before Larry Fitz in Division 1.... Just think about that
  8. Divison 1 is crazy. Rodgers and Carr were both taken in the first 2 rounds
  9. I've got the fear for the division one draft. I haven't done much research, I don't particularly like the scoring changes, and I'm working...
  10. I'd be pretty disappointed if we don't have a heavily rotated squad, for a game that should be treated in the category of preseason or the semi-final of the Renfrewshire cup. It's the perfect opportunity for the fringe players to play in a 'competitive' game. I'd hope we won't see any of the players that played at the weekend in the starting line-up unless we have no-one fit or they require some more minutes.
  11. Really not sure how I feel about the removal of defences and kickers. Definietly more against it than in favour. But I'll see how it plays out
  12. Forte had a couple of massive games last year but was mostly garbage. Powell should do alright in fantasy terms purely because whatever rubbish qb starts can just dump the ball off to him. It's a bad day when Austin Seferin Jenkins might be your best threat in the air...
  13. All started with the switching of Morgan and Smith. The Falkirk left back couldn't handle Morgan just knocking the ball past him and chasing it. Sutton played well and linked up play. First home opening win since 2006...
  14. The album has already grown on me. Reckon Chemistry is my favourite on it.
  15. Is that around the 24th? If so i'll probably have to auto draft, which isn't always the worst thing in the world...
  16. Managed to get standing tickets on amazon tickets, after ticket master was just showing errors any time I tried after 0900.
  17. The Chiefs passing game is just going to be screen plays to Hill all season then?
  18. Spalleti pushed out the door by Roma, despite winning a record number of points and getting into the Champions League group stages, potentially on the way to Inter. It'll be interesting to see how long Milan go with this new ownership, especially with doubts of where their money is coming from
  19. It wouldn't really be that much of a surprise if he left before the season was out, money talks, and you'd imagine Dundee would offer more money. I'd hope he'd stay a bit longer due to the work he's put into building the team already, along with trying to build his CV instead of it appearing like he'll immediately leave the club as soon as someone higher in the league offers something. Long term, 3 clubs in two seasons doesn't look great. He'd put himself under a lot of pressure to have a good season with Dundee, and would have to avoid a run similar to the one we had prior to January. Otherwise his CV would look rather flimsy.
  20. Pretty happy with the signings so far. The guys making the step up to FT are low risk high reward. Hopefully a fairly settled squad early on, will increase the likelihood of us having a strong start to the season. Quite a turnaround in how we seem to be doing our business compare to previous years. Hopefully it pays off.
  21. I thought Icardi was well known to be the greatest dick in football, especially after the whole Maxi Lopez thing. Never mind his comments on the Inter Ultras.

    Billions

Just watched all of this apart from the finale of series two which was released after I went offshore. Really really enjoy, as as said above Giamatti is brilliant in it.
  23. Despite having the game since release, I've only really started getting into a save this month, due to being offshore. Started as St.Mirren, medium database, with major European Leagues loaded and no transfers for the first window. Currently varying between a simple 4-4-2, Standard back 4, two support wingers, a central midfielder on defend, the other as an attacking playmaker. A Deep Striker on support and an Advanced forward. And a 4-3-3 which is much the same, but with an added central midfielder. The base instructions seem to get a lot more out of the players, than specific roles. Started the season very well, 7 wins in the league and 1 defeat at home to Hibs. A semi final of the Betfred Cup against Hearts after shitfesting wins against weak ICT and Aberdeen teams in the earlier round, and a quarter final against Dunfermline in the challenge cup. Loy and Smith have formed a decent strike partnership, with Sutton, Clarkson and McGinn suffering serious injuries that put them out for 4 months. Magennis is being re-trained into a right midfield role. My back 4, despite not playing particularly well have kept 7 clean sheets from 16 games, although 5 against lower league opposition. I expect to lose some key players in January, with Mallan and Magennis being linked with moves away already.
  24. Having to suffer 4 weeks on a vessel with no WiFi. Only desktop internet. I might as well be in a dingy crossing the Mediterranean in the hope of a better life...
