That was my fifth one, first since 2019. It's conspicuously busier now and at certain points dangerously so. We managed to get in the field for Bicep at IICON stage Friday night/Saturday morning but sacked it off as we couldn't even see the stage and it was stupidly busy even at the back. Wasn't surprised to hear they had to pull the plug for 20 minutes due to some crushing.
Caught in a few horrendous standstills on the Railway Path and in Shangri-La too. Not much fun at the time. The night time areas are amazing but probably a victim of their own success now, and for the young team they seem to be the festival.
Still an incredible five days, there really is nothing else like it, but feels like it's going to take something serious to happen before the organisers realise they've created a monster.
