No player should..in all honesty react to fans giving them grief. Yes he has been getting it tight this season..and frankly rightly so..because he as been so shite compared to last season where he was almost talismatic (is that even a word..haha) The example I would look at is Steve Kean down at Blackburn. He has had the worst ive ever seen with regards to chanting..protests outside the ground and everything. The recent Bolton game at Ewood was shocking..and yet does he run to the crowd and give them abuse back? Does he hell. Professional. That's what walker should be as well. Yes the team needs vocal backing..but teams that have much smaller supports seem to get by..so why can't the players of Raith?

Thompson is a good player. You could see he had talent when he played against Montrose in the cup. Strolled that game..comfortable on the ball..looked to get forward at every occasion. Got an assist and scored. Surely he would give us something. It's a shame because in comes Denis Shevchenko (haha if only) and he gets a game straight away! What is your logic John? Because its time you changed it!

McGlynn to be fair has made our record at Sometset significantly better in recent seasons than what it was. It's beating them and Stirling at home that we seem to struggle at..

Conceded 7 goals in pre-season last year...conceded only 4 this season in the same number of games. It's not all doom and gloom...after the defeat to Cowden in the Challenge cup the boys got amongst the goals scoring 8 in the following 3 games... Friendlies are for building up fitness and gaining some income. Course you want the team to win 5-0 in these games but that just leads to higher expectations. This team shouldn't be judged on pre-season. Strange how we only managed to arrange one home friendly actually... New strip looked quite good on...although the all blue again annoyed me.
