  1. Haha! Don't know if I would have Hartley or not, but if the time did come, I'd be right on here looking for your post..... Wullie Dyer has been a good signing in my opinion. I'd even stick my neck out and say he had a better season than craig Wilson! Not exactly brilliant but he did his job relatively well! Showed his inexperience against Alloa but that was really the only game where he was pretty awful (but the whole team were that day) Chairmanship statement again? Interesting.
  2. As he is announced as the next Alloa player manager? Hmmm.
  3. The FFP also states that Murray hasn't actually agreed a new deal yet, but negotiations are on-going! Hope to he'll he signs to be honest! Bert has been brilliant the last 2 seasons!
  4. Rumour on Fantalk that the midfielder in question is Liam Fox from livingston, but that usually does the rounds every season! Surely a second division team has a semi decent right back? Dyer seemed to make the jump up without any real problems?
  5. Has to offer more than weir surely? Only 1 goal and he would be instantly better!!!
  6. Baird does love it at Rovers though, but money talks as they say.....
  7. After that article Rovers were soundly beaten 2-0 if I recall? With fatty boom boom, mark yardley playing. Look where we are now!
  8. I think my favourite line was probably "...and Nicholas has surely won the cup for Celtic....." Jock Brown jinxed it!
  9. Likely line up: McGurn Wilson Dyer Ellis Murray Davidson Williamson Walker Mole Tade McBride Subs: McNeil, Baird, Wales, Campbell, Ferry.
  10. Tade, Wales and Baird up front. Yes please. Davidson, Walker and Ferry in Midfield, usual defence and goalkeeper. We'll win 4-0 on Saturday. MON!!!!
  11. The Sun reports today that Christian Nanetti has signed on for another month. Would be good to see him maybe come off the bench if we are winning or whatever to get a look at him, but John must think he's worth another look.
  12. They should have just waited to release it after we win the league, so it could have Champions 2010/11 embroidered under the badge.... I think I might get this.
  13. I see Sloan has scored a few for the Fife though this season. A free kick and a low curling shot against Dumbarton from what I can remember from the SFL Highlights. But this thread is about the mighty Raith Rovers, so piss off.
  14. Ah you've returned Stevo....I had forgotten all about you and you're little team. Sloany doing the business?
  15. I deliberately left out some of the "defenders" and Rudy because Nanetti is an attacking midfielder/striker. But yes, the other players you guys have mentioned gave me nightmares last night. PS just for you L. Brilliant....Juan Nieto
  16. Ah yes.Him and Moussa Quattara were probably the (I dont want to say this at all) best of a very, very bad bunch though. Hasn't Sacko got more First Division goals than Graham Weir??
  17. Hopefully like: Wilfred Nanou, Ramon Pereira, Nacho Novo, Paquito, Didier Agathe. Better not be like: Juan Nieto, Herve Ebanda, Peter Ocovan, Alvaro Valdes, Baroan Tagro, Juan Guerrero, Maurice Mendy, Mehdi Eloujdi, Amar Benaissa. Have I missed anyone?
  18. Guys on Fantalk even managed to find a video of him on Soccer AM Skills Skool! He won! Tekkers!!
  19. Mark Campbell!! :D This is indeed good news, hopefully he comes through the reserve game in decent shape, and could even make the bench for Saturday? Even as an unused sub, it would give the team a massive boost to have him in the squad! Hopefully Gary Wales puts pen to paper as well!
  20. So it looks like Dougie will be out for the majority of the season, if not the whole season. What a shitemare, for him and the team. Imagine signing a new full-time deal then BANG this happens. Awful. Please for the love of CHRIST do we not get any more long term injuries this season.
  21. Well considering my Dad shouted, I'm ready for catching it Tade, he did pretty well to keep it low. It was a poor penalty, but like people have said if the goalkeeper had guessed the other way it would have sat nicely in the net. To be fair Cerny had a great game.
  22. Talking about the strips I just found something very interesting on our page on the SFL page. Edited to add, the link didnt work for some reason, so if you go on to the SFL website, then find Rovers after going into clubs and then First Division, If you scroll down, you'll find a 3rd kit resembling our famous "Barca" effort from 1994/95!! It looks ace, I wonder if the club are going to allow it for public sale? I know I'd buy one!
