  1. So enough again about the doom and gloom... Any word on the strips?
  2. I think Ice Hockey is one of North America's better sports! I've never actually watched the Flyers at all...but I've watched the Olympic Ice hockey a few times and it's pretty exciting! Plus they even fight! Far better than Baseball...glorified rounders that! Anyone for Basketball?? I saw the Lakers when I was in LA and it was brilliant!
  3. Tade is on St. Johnstone's radar according to the Courier.
  4. McGlynn states in the press that he hopes to bring in a couple of loan players before the start of pre season training. Woopee!
  5. £17 for an adult next season! £9 for concession! £20 for parent and child! Kind of expected this to be honest, only £1 more is better than I thought it would be.
  6. In other news, Paul Browne just arrived at my house with a parcel...for the wrong house! He put our parcel through our neighbours letterbox by mistake! Clearly as good at being a postie as he was at being a defender...haha!
  7. Yeah said in either last weeks press or the week before that Bert was still in Negotiations with the club. Hopefully he will sign. Easily one of McGlynn's best signings to date. Immense!
  8. I think it's a good move, especially if that means we could possibly move for some loanees. Having a young back up keeper is better than throwing in a young defender or whatever. Like I said before most teams this season will probably have similar types of squad in terms of size and overall ability. Although with Dundee resigning Douglas, Weston and McKeown they do look rather solid at the back. But then again we still have McGurn, Ellis and hopefully Bert (if he agrees a new deal)
  9. So McGlynn to go with 13 senior players next season and 6 youth players including Ross Laidlaw who will be back-up goalie to McGurn.
  10. Did anyone at the start of the season think we would challenge with that squad? Next season will indeed be a different ball game, but most teams will basically have squads that are jumbled together from last year. I cannot see Livingston and the Brechin/Ayr adding first division players from last season to their teams because of finances. I don't think we have much to worry about. Yes the squad will be smaller, buy I see no reason why the club can't at least challenge again next season.
  11. Haha! Don't know if I would have Hartley or not, but if the time did come, I'd be right on here looking for your post..... Wullie Dyer has been a good signing in my opinion. I'd even stick my neck out and say he had a better season than craig Wilson! Not exactly brilliant but he did his job relatively well! Showed his inexperience against Alloa but that was really the only game where he was pretty awful (but the whole team were that day) Chairmanship statement again? Interesting.
  12. As he is announced as the next Alloa player manager? Hmmm.
  13. The FFP also states that Murray hasn't actually agreed a new deal yet, but negotiations are on-going! Hope to he'll he signs to be honest! Bert has been brilliant the last 2 seasons!
  14. Rumour on Fantalk that the midfielder in question is Liam Fox from livingston, but that usually does the rounds every season! Surely a second division team has a semi decent right back? Dyer seemed to make the jump up without any real problems?
  15. Has to offer more than weir surely? Only 1 goal and he would be instantly better!!!
  16. Baird does love it at Rovers though, but money talks as they say.....
  17. After that article Rovers were soundly beaten 2-0 if I recall? With fatty boom boom, mark yardley playing. Look where we are now!
  18. I think my favourite line was probably "...and Nicholas has surely won the cup for Celtic....." Jock Brown jinxed it!
  19. Likely line up: McGurn Wilson Dyer Ellis Murray Davidson Williamson Walker Mole Tade McBride Subs: McNeil, Baird, Wales, Campbell, Ferry.
  20. Tade, Wales and Baird up front. Yes please. Davidson, Walker and Ferry in Midfield, usual defence and goalkeeper. We'll win 4-0 on Saturday. MON!!!!
