Absolutely this. We have an intelligence about us in the middle of the park with some pace. Fairly solid defensively too. Mullen has grown on me greatly. Brechin huffed and puffed but it was clear we had a bit more quality than them.

A player like Jordyn is always going to be popular with any set of supporters. Absolutely obvious he gave 100% any time he played and certainly has ability too. A bit like a large Gareth Wardlaw who was also very popular. A fit Sheerin would be playing below his level at us. Sad to see him leave.

I like Cox, I respect him for the way he deals with his off field issues and the way he tries to highlight it as much as possible. He's a decent lower league player but f**k me he really is a walking red card. I don't know how much his mental health issues play a part in the way he plays but his energy needs to be used better than leaving the boot in, petulance, chatting back and being a fanny in general on the park. When he's in the mood he's an asset to us. He's no use to anyone if he's suspended for a lot of games. Getting sent off against a bunch of bairns was something I thought only Chris Turner having a meltdown would do. It really isn't good enough.

Cove's 3rd was a belter.

There were a few good performances in the 2nd half after a very poor 1st half. Think we just about deserved the win but it certainly wasn't without a scare or two. Two cracking saves from Dab and an utterly dreadful penalty from Buchanan ensured us of a few unnecessary nervy moments. The referee was absolutely inept too. Rumour has it he started booking our supporters and board members too? Pleased for Swann and Renton. Don't understand why he's not told to try and control the ball more from high balls - we certainly have more success with that than seeing flicked on headers scooped up by the opposition.

Quality result for the Methil Minks. Hoping you guys get 2nd at the expense of United. That would be funny.

Not seen any friendlies but going by reports, seems a very good signing for us. Since the launch of the lottery online, has the uptake been positive? Potentially another good income stream I'd hope. Quite happy with our business so far especially getting Allan signed again. Would it be wrong to hope for a playoff spot?

Genuinely hope so. I honestly think with the right advice and support from coaching staff he can be our best player and move on to better things.
