  1. Both are slavering buffoons who aren't very good managers. Shiels being the slightly better of the two.
  2. Jim Ross is bringing one out soon, pretty sure that'll be worth a listen.
  3. He'd be brilliant as The Master.
  4. He's just a Northern Irish version of John Brown. No idea why Morton fans are happy with this.
  5. It's a shame because the Japanese seem to come up with all these brilliant ideas, develop them well and then proceed to say, 'f**k it, baws oot time' and ruin it.
  6. Same makers, quite similar but Starbound has much more depth to it. Not played either, just from reading about them. Dino Crisis was awesome by the way. Think of Resident 1/2/3 but with dinosaurs! Can't be complaining about that! Also, Capcom is now a company that tries to out-destroy Square when it comes to their franchises.
  7. Not a question, just on the theme of bowties, Dundee recently had their 120th anniversary and alumni such as Barry Smith, Alan Gilzean, Ian Ure, Billy Pirie and Charlie Cooke attended. All wearing black bowtie's with their suits. Jocky Scott, on the other hand, decided to wear a cheeky wee red one so that he was the main man. I mean the real Jocky, not the jetpack wielding one. ETA: Link.
  8. He was alright in Still Game.
  9. Enemies are based on your level. The higher your level the harder the higher level enemies become. If you have Squall and Zella faint when you're in the SeeD assessment war, just have Seifer battle in the random battles for say, 3 hours grind levelling up your GFs, getting all their abilities. The game is then unbelievably simple and I mean like, one hit kills on bosses.
  10. You're better off avoiding the random battles, yeah. It's a flaw, but it means you can play the game in two different ways.
  11. Any games that are relatively simple to play? I like my PC games to be simple such as Age of Empires, Civ 5, FM. Basically, ones that don't require WSAD use or a controller as that's what I've got my console for. That and the game can't be mind-numbingly boring such as a bus simulator or something like that.
  12. James Thomson has joined East Fife from us on loan apparently. He's supposed to have a big future at Dens, but seems a bit small at CB for me and not the most mobile of RB's. His stint at East Fife will be crucial in his development I suspect.
  13. I refuse to take anyone's opinion on the subject of Doctor Who ever again if they think Matt Smith was one of the best. He's easily been the worst since it started up again. Mon now Yoss, you're better than that.
  14. Rewatched some of Ecclestone's stint as Doctor and can't believe the quality of some of the episodes! He's still by far, the best doctor for me though.
  15. Former RAF technician saying it can't be the tail rotor, saying the helicopter lost power and the pilots tried to guide it down but something about the weight of the helicopter was too much for the rotors or something?
  16. If they're raising a screen, I presume that confirms fatalities and obviously don't want people to see the bodies being helped into an ambulance. Wee fannies hanging about on BBC news just laughing and trying to cause bother FS.
  17. 'I've watched this helicopter for years and it doesn't land on the roofs of pubs or houses.' - Well no shit Sherlock.
  18. The two new news anchors on the BBC seem like something out of Anchorman.
  19. Anyone hear the Glaswegian swearing at the reporter which forced them to curtail the interview?
  20. Don't think anyone is making fun Kilbowie, or if they are, it's definitely not in a malicious sense. I don't think there's anyone on here that doesn't hope everyone is safe. People deal with horrific incidents differently and I hope your colleagues are safe. Sometimes humour isn't a bad thing in incidents like this, although I totally understand how you see it differently.
  21. Typical Rangers fan thinking that 'The Sky' is a height.
  22. It says a lot about BBC Scotland that when a major news story breaks that is very concerning and making global news that they just go, 'Aye, but that's not on the schedule'.
  23. Anyone got a stream of CNN? Last link was a guy on a train.
