  1. Yes. Obviously you can have shit luck with injuries, but generally speaking if you've got a rake of injuries all at once then either your playing surface is bad, there's something wrong with the medical/physio team & they aren't adequately looking after the playing squad/helping them recover, the team are doing something wrong in training that is increasing the risk of injuries, whatever. And if you don't have anyone from the youth team who is at least viewed as capable of warming the bench & maybe coming on for 15 minutes then that suggests pretty dire things there too. I'm just not prepared to give anyone involved the benefit of the doubt. Why should I considering how bad this season has been?
  2. County didn't have a full bench against Killie. Always a good sign of a well run club
  3. Do they not need some confidence before you can protect it? Because they certainly aren't playing with any.
  4. I genuinely have no idea how many. Looking at average attendance it's not like they are down massively, so it's probably not as many as you'd want. But yeah, there's still some of us. It's burned pretty much any good will I once had for MacGregor & I can't see him getting that back. Which, arguably I shouldn't have had any goodwill for anyone with a 9 figure bank account but that's football for you, makes mugs of us all. But it's like Savage Henry says, no point banging on about it repeatedly because it just ends up having the same pointless argument over & over. Honestly, you go back & read some of the comments MacGregor made to the press in January 2022 where he's still claiming to bewildered at the reception to Mackay from fans & he somehow didn't expect such strong feelings from Highlanders & I just think "god, do you really think all Highlanders are that racist?" The way he comes off you'd think it's the fans hating Malky for not being racist. I genuinely fear he'll refuse to accept he got it wrong. I took to watching Inverness Athletic in the North Caley when I needed a football fix, it was fun. Not quite the same thing though, as the team you started following when you were in Primary School. But to a certain extent I'm just not as obsessed with football as I was, if this goes on another season then I can easily see myself just only watching Scotland games & international tournaments.
  5. I'd have gone off in a strip after how utterly he's been wasted in a team that seems incapable of playing anything but Route 1 hoofball.
  6. That we'll beat Partick? Nope. That Malky will get sacked as a result of getting us relegated? Nope.
  7. It's criminal how poorly Malky has utilised Dhanda considering he's clearly the best player in the squad.
  8. Even if they weren't, the manager is fucking useless. Kettlewell got sacked for less
  9. You've got to give it to Malky. Biggest game of the season, and he can't even get the players motivated to try more than the standard hoofball. Cracking manager, what an appointment. Wonder if Macgregor still thinks Malky is winning hearts & minds, like he claimed January 2022? He's been awfully quiet this year, hasn't he? Bit unusual, he usually loves the cameras.
  10. How many times have County conceded after the 80th minute this season? Because it feels like a lot and surely that's a reflection in the manager. Who, it hardly needs to be said, should go regardless of if we best Killie or not at the Weekend.
  11. At least talking about Black Sabbath is a step up on the endless chat about VAR. I'm always impressed that Pat remembers to breathe. Disappointed, but impressed.
  12. Kenny McIntyre sounds horny for a Malky Mackay post-match interview, pretty sure he's building that up to be a disappointment.
  13. It'd be nice if Pat Bonner was put out to pasture. He does not have anything worthwhile to say about anything outside of Celtic, & seems to think Scottish football exists for Celtic. Total waste of license payer's money.
  14. All it really says is that any younger player that shows even the slightest hint of confidence gets snapped up by some club from England or now Italy. It's not great but it's I don't really see it as a reflection on the quality of the academies as it is a reflection on the financial differences that we've had since TV rights deals went bonkers over the last 35 years
  15. At this point I genuinely think Malky will still be manager come next season, regardless of which division we're playing in. McGregor seems wedded to him.
  16. Can't blame them, I'd managed to erase the McSwegan disaster from my memory. Now the Mark Hately farce, that I remember.
  17. I for one am looking forward to next season. County might actually win some games, & as an added bonus will hopefully do it without Malky Mackay anywhere near the club
  18. I've been asking this since the day he was appointed and the answer seems to be To some extent I almost feel a bit of pity for him, he was always going to be on to a loser trying to replace our top 3 scorers from last season, Cookie, Hungbo & Spittal. But he's the guy in charge so the failure to adequately do so until January is on him. His big positive point is meant to be his contacts throughout the game but what that's boiled down to is a lot of loan signings, which either work and we need to replace them 12 months later or are a waste of everyone's time. Charitable way to look at it is Roy seems to have convinced himself this is a long term thing but it's not like we are seeing our academy players playing regularly or anything. The grumpy b*****d way of looking at it is Roy isn't used to being questioned and instantly got his back up when some fans raised questions about the appointment for non-footballing reasons from the off. And will desperately hang on too long too try prove everyone wrong. If Malky is still manager when we're back in the Championship then I guess we know the answer is the second of those 2.
