  1. I'm thoroughly pissed off at this regardless of fee and add ons. I can't see how this squares with "SPL ambition"; the direction of the club is clearly not the direction we fans have in mind.
  2. The signals are not good. I'll be surprised if we see Vaughan again this season. My expectation is that he'll be rested until everything is 100% before restarting any strenuous training. In fact if it's his ACL on the one that's been done twice already then it'll probably be goodnight.
  3. We would normally rotate the squad for this but due to our long layoff I reckon McGlynn will put out his strongest available line up.
  4. No, they tried the hundred mile-an-hour out the traps stuff which they would never have sustained for long.
  5. Kelty ahead at Ochilview, Cooden beating Annan, Bluebell beating Penicuik on the Cup, The Fife holding Peterheed, and the Pars losing - so far a good day for Fife footie...
  6. This is the sort of game we need to win if we are to get into the play-offs. We're due a win here; I'm not with the pessimists on this one (the Rovers ones I mean) - a win by a couple of goals.
  7. Is this borne of pessimism or what you've actually witnessed? I've no reason to doubt, but we all go through spells of dejection when a new manager and new team don't gel right away. I don't think Grant's a Locke (although I think he's an arrogant stubborn git), he had Alloa playing good stuff despite relegation. I can't see your present form lasting for long.
  8. Five at Ibrox, where we might also have had that kind of scoreline. Morton scored a freak goal in the last minute. Our Accies debacle was Thistle's for you. We had a surprisingly good outing against Aberdeen, so form has swung in our favour. But there are goals in your team and as we showed at Kessock where we hardly created a chance; things might not turn out so bad for Dunfermline.
  9. Is anyone else starting to get that familiar feeling that this might be heading for a classic Rovers fail when they're expected to win against a team in disarray? Like, QOS last season? Surely not
  10. Along with an expectation of defeat, according to most of them on here. With their forward line they've a reasonable chance, so they should get along and add to the atmosphere.
  11. According to Ayr fans Zanatta's problems were due to poor management and tactics, and being played out of position. They thought he was lazy but could have been apathy due to these issues. He was certainly sounding motivated in his interview after yesterday's game.
  12. I think if he plays he'll be fired up to do well against us.
  13. He wasn't liked by Thistle fans either. I can identify with the attitude issue, in his interview after yesterdays Cup game where he roasted the Aberdeen defence he spoke about how McGlynn had encouraged him and how he wanted to do his best every game - there was a lot of genuine enthusiasm there. As you say, it could have been a man management problem
