Who is Euan Murray supposedly joining?
Sights set on Cowdenbeath after last night.0 -
Not the time for that chat.Always be the wee team though0 -
Not anti Levein, but not sure he would take the job ...or that the fans would take to him.I appreciate that he didn't do well at Scotland but any manager with some experience is going to have a blemish or two.
The manager in the opposition dugout was an absolute disaster at Hearts, he's done not bad eh?0 -
You'll not be playing like that every game though. Pretty sure you'll not play like that again for a couple of seasons as you'll not be playing the Pars again till then.I said it before the game finished. That scoreline flattered dunfermline. We were unplayable tonight and if we play like that every game we will be promoted.
Long way from 12 months ago when it was up for debate if we should even be in this league.0 -
Actually that's a pretty good shout, he could shore it up with 4-6-0He has to go, if he doesn't the board will quite rightly get it tight.
I know it's not popular, but I'd get Levein in until the end of the season...0 -
f**k watching that again tomorrow. How many people who are East End/game regulars can honestly they would watch on Wednesday if it wasn’t on telly and they had to stream it? The board have been sleepwalking and we just can’t afford to lose our only income stream this season. Ffs BOD grow a fucking spine for once in your tenure and stop this stagnation!
*edit*
Yes I am fucking fuming that we’ve not kicked a ball since November and f**k all has been done about Crawford. This is 100% worse than AJ days.2 -
Unless Crawford has Vaughan signed on a pre-contract tomorrow then I think he may be gone...so obvious he wants to play at the bigger club.[emoji476]

Ref conned there.

When did he score his first?Should have been a second for Ashcroft there.0 -

Crawford’s team will be up shortly ...still analysing the Dundee line-up, making the changes necessary, telling some players why they’re back on the bench....

Tonight’s the night the Pars start to embark on their push for the title. Hearts bottle has crashed and we have now lulled half the league into a false sense of security. Looking forward to this.
Damn, these drugs in Dundee are the hard stuff.0 -
Mods? Prior game to be played and had a far better name for the thread.

We were never going to challenge Hearts with their budget. We’re now in pole position going for the play offs (due games in hand albeit against the other challengers) in the run in. If we’d have been offered this before the season started I’m pretty sure you’d all have taken it.

Vytas.
If he really is to be a cult hero, we really should have a song ready to go. This tune has just been remixed and re-released…
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
There lived a special man in Lithuania long ago
He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow
Rovers defenders looked at him with terror and with fear
But to Duloch chicks he was such a lovely dear
Way he would clear the ball was a feature
Full of ecstasy and fire
But he also was the kind of creature
The fans would desire
Vytas Gašpuitis
Lover of the East End team
When he cleared the ball it really was gone
Vytas Gašpuitis
Lithuania’s stopping goals machine
On with the game now he carried on
He’ll rule East End Park for the mighty Pars
But for novichok he defended really wunderbar
Against the Faroe Islands he was the man to please
But he was real great when offside trap to squeeze
For the Craw he was now to be a leader
Cause he'd heard the things he'd done
He believed he was a great defender
Who could beat the ‘ton
Vytas Gašpuitis
Lover of the East End team
When he cleared the ball it really was gone
Vytas Gašpuitis
Lithuania’s stopping goals machine
On with the game now he carried on0 -
I watch football to be entertained. If we are successful then I couldn’t give a f**k about style.
Moaning about results or league position is fair enough. Crawford has a job to do in that regard and if he fails at that he should be sacked. But if we’re successful then how it’s done doesn’t matter in the slightest.
If you turn up/tune in/stream down for shitfests and only concern is the result then soon you'll be watching shitfests without the result, alone, as there'll be no one else left to pay the wages.
Most of the first half today and patches of second were open and entertaining enough, but there seemed a lack of urgency and directness when we went behind.
It was no where near as bad as some games have been this season.
My biggest bugbear is that if we were more adventurous I think we have the players to entertain and cause problems for any opposition in this league, the over cautious approach is boring and can lead to results like todays.

Has the loss of Turner ever caused Tom Hanks trouble?
1 -
Always.
A very optimistic view of things regarding Turner I'd say.0 -
Am I the only one to see why this is possibly a good decision, we need to keep their loanee defender. Turner needs rehabilitation and match fitness following his injury win/win. Proves himself at Airdrie gets a decent contract renewal. Pretty simple, or am I missing something?

Bad run? We are literally on no run at all, given we have been going WLWLW for ...ever. Makes a change from WWWWWLLLLL I suppose.
Unless you want to call it a run of perfect inconsistency?
Still always take WL over DD.0 -
Probably just to wind you up? Morton never looked like scoring even if they'd played till midnight ...the Pars having left at 16.48.
What a bunch of absolute knicker-wetters Dunfermline fans are btw - leading against a bunch of League Two standard jobbers up from but declaring that the equaliser was coming every other post on this thread.
Poor but not unexpected result and a draw wouldn't have done much for us either. We need to be winning games at home instead, starting with Queen of the South next week.0 -
What has Jay Kay got to do with Rangers?0 -
That's me got the game for a tenner, whenever they play it. Will obviously seek a refund if they put it back on the TV.

I spoke too soon. £5 to buy absolutely nothing. Reckon if you'd said Banksy had made it you could have charged the £14.
Let's buy virtual tickets to help the wee team...
said no-one ever.
Form guide says Dunfermline win given we win and lose on alternate weeks, and it's our turn to win, and Rovers to lose.0

What we need to hear, is a BoD statement that they fully back Crawford. Then we can rest easy.
