Virgin Media are doing my nut in, some "fault in my area" has meant I'm getting 1Mbps when I get home at night. I can find good streams for football, but my internet speed won't let me watch them.

I know it's been said before on this thread, but rewatching it all before the premiere and realising again that a bad episode of GoT does not exist.

Nah I'm not arguing it was. But anything the government does with this stuff is surely just putting out fires and ignoring the fuel. Until they realise that the only way to get rid of piracy is to make things affordable for everyone, people will always find a way to pirate.

Kodi is just a cleaner platform for streaming. If we wanted to, it isn't hard to find sites that have streams of TV shows, films, or live sports ourselves, and that's been the case for years.

I gave up the majority of my Virgin media for Kodi, simply because I was spending a fortune and I don't actually sit and watch TV that much. It was much better to spend £50 on a box and have stuff on demand whenever I fancied it.

Set my box up whilst sitting about today. Happy with it, will see how it goes with regards sports live streams. My router is right next to the box but I assume an ethernet cable would improve things. I like the Pulse build, mainly because if I can't find a program on one of them it'll likely be somewhere else. Delighted.

Finally pay day has arrived. Phoned to cancel my Virgin TV/Broadband as it was costing 73 a month but they instantly reduced that to 28 so keeping that, and will get my box for everything else. Back on the hunt for the newest model!

Had a hankering to get back involved with the hill walking recently. Climbed Ben Vane and Ben Vrackie a few times when I was a kid but fell by the wayside with growing up, working, uni etc. I reckon I'll get back into this in the summer after exams. Anyone know of any hill walking groups in the Edinburgh area? I don't mind firing up a few myself but wouldn't hurt having a squad alongside. If I ask my mates to join they'll screw their noses up, or come once and pie it in.

From AFTN: All good things come to an end. Or so they say. AFTN has been around since 1989, first as a fanzine and then making the jump to a website and forum in 2003. We've been through the many ups and down at East Fife in those 12 years but policing the forum has become a giant pain in the ass in recent years. As such, we made the decision not to renew it when it expired. The forum is no more and will remain as a locked archive until it is eventually deleted by the host. We're looking in to try to save some of the content as an archive. This is not the end of AFTN though. The site will continue and will be revamped and return in its full glory for the start of the 2016/17 season. Maybe even sooner. I've asked below and he has no problems, but technically that flat isn't part of the building, his is the next number up and is a single flat, mines is a block with communal stairs. I've not asked above, but everytime I've asked the lass above anything about the building she's just gawked at me in confusion and shook her head. Funny you should say that, the guy downstairs is absolutely fucking massive.

Aye my dad snaffled some acid from his work last night. Still nothing. Think I'm gonna have to get someone in, but it's annoying because I don't think it'll be me that's caused this in my block of flats. The sink waste and the drain from the washing machine both connect to a vertical pipe which I'm guessing goes up and down the whole building, which is where the block is.

Yeah central heating and all that is fine. I've smashed every chemical under the sun, used a plunger for ages but nowt has moved. Sod's law that I've waited to have a group of mates to my flat for the first time, shock horror it's this weekend as soon as this happens.

Moved into my flat in Edinburgh about 7 months ago. My kitchen sink has stopped draining, all other drains are fine. I've taken the U-bend out and cleared the pipes that are actually in my flat but nothing. Who's responsible for pipes that aren't actually in my flat? Is this expensive to fix? Any advice?

Anyone know what's going on with AFTN? No activity for almost 3 weeks, keeps saying it's reached the post limit or something. Has GoF packed it in?

Watched Leicester Watford on PLP this evening. The HD stream was ridiculously good.

Rather looking forward to the finale. Having a quick look in Wikipedia there, the viewing figures has dropped from over 4 million an ep in the first season to about 2 million. At what point do they decide to cut shows because the figures are too low? Suits seems to have quite a following over here so there'd be a lot of disappointed people. Surprised the figures are so low in the US.

Yeah I didn't think so, last I had heard he wasn't anywhere near that standard but I might have missed him coming on leaps and bounds the past 6 months. I guess not.

This. Unsure on if he'd be played just in front of Shaw as a winger similar to Bale's development but I highly doubt it. If he was to go straight into the Arsenal set up ahead of Monreal, that would be a much better move but as I said I haven't seen enough of him this season to say if he's developed to anywhere near that standard.

As disappointing as it was at the time, dropping to the Championship might have been the best thing for his development. I haven't seen much of him play but from what I can see he's playing almost every game.
