The indignation from ex pros and his media pals on Twitter is doing my nut in. Sutton and Tam McManus amongst those calling it shameful. I once heard Danny Baker saying you should disregard the opinion of someone who can't tell you the last time they paid into a game. Think those two fit the bill.

Basically from the start he's rubbed folk the wrong way. Said the team that coasted the championship wasn't good enough that completely isolated the backbone of the squad. Told Eck and McKenzie to find new clubs about a week into pre season which also pissed off the existing players. Signed some amount of shite. Told Cammy Smith, who won 4 player of the year awards last year, he was free to find a new club. This caused captain McGinn and Stubbs to fall out alledegly. Story that he had also fallen out with the nicest guy on the planet, Tony Fitzpatrick. Story they he also wasn't on speaking terms with our Academy chief Allan McManus. Signed some amount of shite.

I believe Stubbs is saying it to try and get the fans onside about moving on the more established players, that none of us want to leave. The fact he never mentioned it when we were going after Kenny Miller and now we didn't get him people need to move on, suggests it's bullshit.

Is the commuting from up north to Glasgow as difficult as it is being made out to be? Genuine question, not a wind up. There is a motorway junction from the new m74 just 2 miles from Hampden for example.

As many have said, the scheduling of the fixtures the real issue. A Sunday night against Albania at Hampden wouldn't be any more enjoyable if it was a Sunday night at Murrayfield. I'm lucky, I live and work in the West so Hampden is fine for me. I've been going to home games since the qualification for Euro 96 and if it moves I'll cancel my membership and pick and choose. Not throwing toys out the pram, it just won't be convenient for me any longer. But for everyone like me who chucks it, I'm sure there will be a new member.

I genuinely wouldn't give Stubbs any more money. He can't be trusted. Keep any cash for the new manager in January. We just need to gamble we pick up enough points between now and then. Despite my negativity I've just purchased my hearts tickets.

I'm glad McGinn has said something, if only to highlight to the hierarchy at the club that things aren't right. Would also agree with the notion touched on above that Stubbs might try and drop him now and that would just send the fans way over the edge.

Pretty damning and, aligned with his show of support for Cammy Smith on Saturday, leaves you in now doubt what he thinks of the new regime and the whole situation.

Listen, I have no delusions of grandeur - I'm expecting a tough season. Suppose I'm basing my reaction off the comments from Rangers fans both online and who I know. All the ones I know are absolutely pishing themselves about it. However, perhaps I am being too hasty so I'll give him a chance. Just frustrating we are signing a full back after watching Liam Smith sign for Ayr last week.
