  1. Getting McAllister is a complete bonus - as far I'm concerned we've already sold him as a youth academy asset so any sell on back to Derby is immaterial. If we are having a conversation in 2 years about how much we sold him for then it can only mean he has performed extremely well since he came back so it's win win.
  2. Happy to help with any commish duties if required
  3. 4 signed up. Let's try and get this filled
  4. I did the previous one on here, that didn't happen last year, and I loved the different strategy. Thought I'd add the 2 QB stuff into the mix as well.
  5. Guys I’ve been exceedingly bored at work so I’ve set up a new redraft league on ESPN. Format is auction draft, 10 teams, 0.5 pt PPR and an Offensive Utility Flex spot – so essentially a 2 QB league. Link below if you want to join. We will draft using ESPN, as per the previous auction draft, and can either leave it there or import to FleaFlicker. Happy to take suggestions. League name is Pie and Bovril 2QB Auction. https://fantasy.espn.com/football/league/join?leagueId=5365246&inviteId=f6760aa8-2175-4895-bcc3-7e71451ec702
  6. My first season was the relegation season in 91/92. The next year a certain young man named Basher broke through and things were never the same since.
  7. Not really as I dont think he's a realistic signing for us. Would love him, obviously, but cant see him coming back.
  8. I remember being at the fans meeting around the time of the Sevco stuff when Gilmour, McAusland et al told us we had to vote Rangers into div 1. We were sitting in the main stand and they were at the front. I mind they took a vote and most voted against them. They were utterly exasperated.
  9. Looking forward to the meltdown when Vaclav inevitably leaves before end of August.
  10. I liked Haining, never really took to the other 3. What I want is a day like the 2005 deadline day when we signed John Sutton and Charlie Adam. League winning transaction that was.
  11. Neilson went in a huff because there were other interviews taking place. He felt he should be the only choice.
  12. Got a fair offer for Cooks there, was sensible to accept.
  13. @Dee4life is the commish If you need any help Dee I'm happy to do so.
  14. I mind I had a dream once that we are all at the new stadium for a game and something went wrong. An announcement came round that we were all just going to wander round to Love St to finish the game. The game then played out at the old stadium. It might be the happiest I've ever felt. I realise how ridiculous that all sounds, but football does funny things to you. What I wouldn't give give for a pish in those open air toilets now.
  15. This chat has actually reminded me that we signed Jim Goodwin from you guys. I remember seeing him for Accies and thinking he was garbage. Certainly wasn't though! Would that have been a Billy Reid signing? Was he any good for you guys?
  16. Annexe 5 of the regulations state: Solidarity contribution If a professional moves during the course of a contract, 5% of any compensation, not including training compensation paid to his former club, shall be deducted from the total amount of this compensation and distributed by the new club as a solidarity contribution to the club(s) involved in his training and education over the years. This solidarity contribution reflects the number of years (calculated pro rata if less than one year) he was registered with the relevant club(s) between the seasons of his 12th and 23rd birthdays, as follows: – Season of 12th birthday: 5% (i.e. 0.25% of total compensation) – Season of 13th birthday: 5% (i.e. 0.25% of total compensation) – Season of 14th birthday: 5% (i.e. 0.25% of total compensation) – Season of 15th birthday: 5% (i.e. 0.25% of total compensation) – Season of 16th birthday: 10% (i.e. 0.5% of total compensation) – Season of 17th birthday: 10% (i.e. 0.5% of total compensation) – Season of 18th birthday: 10% (i.e. 0.5% of total compensation) – Season of 19th birthday: 10% (i.e. 0.5% of total compensation) – Season of 20th birthday: 10% (i.e. 0.5% of total compensation) – Season of 21st birthday: 10% (i.e. 0.5% of total compensation) – Season of 22nd birthday: 10% (i.e. 0.5% of total compensation) – Season of 23rd birthday: 10% (i.e. 0.5% of total compensation) From the fifa doc: https://resources.fifa.com › r...PDF Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players - FIFA.com
  17. It's a Fifa thing about spreading the wealth. Basically the first 10 years of a players development are split and wherever club the player was at for those times get a cut. We had him for 7 of those 10 development years so get 0.5% for each year. So 3.5%, not the 3.75 typo I did earlier. Over and above any agreement with Hibs.
  18. Regardless of any deal with Hibs we would get 3.75% solidarity payment anyway. At those prices that would be 1.8m before anything else from Leith. Go on United - push the boat out! But remember, he's not good enough to get in Celtics midfield...
  19. You're right mate, it's not really fair and that's why I asked on FF if we were sticking to rookies for three rounds or whatever. I'll swap it back for the same two guys if you want if we're definitely drafting anyone here. That's more than fair mate. If you're cool with that I'll accept it.
  20. Pretty disappointed that I traded the first pick away now given the players available after two teams pulled out.
