  1. I get it's different referees and I don't think two fouls should necessarily be two yellows but Omeonga being sent off for his 'challenges' when Freeman avoided two for a high tackle and a short pull is infuriating. Not getting much luck with the officials at the moment.
  2. Think the challenge was clumsy more than malicious but it shows that we are again getting mucked around by VAR while they upgrade our bad challenges to red cards. How the Pittman challenge is a red and that one isn't is beyond me. Far more dangerous.
  3. Martindale said it looked like a bad one. I'd be appealing the Fitzwater red to give us the extra option for this game.
  4. Has there been a team who has had more VAR decisions go against them than us? Borderline yellows upgraded to reds (Pittman), borderline red cards kept as red cards (Fitzwater, Holt), soft handballs given against us (Shinnie against Rangers), soft handballs not being given as penalties to us (Aberdeen last week), teams getting away with horror tackles against us (Hearts at Tynecastle). I'm not sure what the rules are for continuing with it but I'd be pushing our board to say they want rid. Shite experience, not worth it for correct offside decisions.
  5. Don't know why he wasn't more raging about it. Seemed to accept it immediately which may have swayed the VAR on what was at most a very light touch.
  6. Deflection, if you've not seen the replay. Think the second took one as well.
  7. Wonder if Martindale is happy for Devlin to move on. He looks like he is being targeted quite frequently this season.

  9. Completely agree that Kelly should be the 10 but I'm not convinced Pittman's the right type of player to play deeper. I'd be doing whatever possible to keep a hold of Holt or Omeonga.
  10. Looked as much of a penalty as the three given in the last game. Feel like I missed something in the replay.
  11. Awful from us with the exception of about 15 minutes. Glad I wasn't watching last week's garbage on top of today or I'd be seriously depressed.
  12. Clear shirt pull from Penrice on Morelos. So stupid when Ayo was comfortably winning the header.
  13. Absolute shite from us against a below par Rangers. Have to get better after half time or we'll get smashed when Rangers up it. Midfield in particular loving giving the ball away under no pressure.
  14. Would be a nightmare to lose him at this stage two seasons in a row. Not sure if a loan is possible but we're back to looking very light up front.
  15. Seems to be close to returning based on Martindale's comments. I imagine he will get some appearances in.
  16. Ross Stewart was worse than McCrorie, imho. Saved absolutely nothing that wasn't a routine save whereas McCrorie would occasionally pull something out the bag.
  17. And we haven't beaten them at home since 2006... Killing 2 long records if they get through and we win.
  18. 18 years since we last reached the Quarter Finals. Best chance since then for the curse to end.
  19. Millwall have apparently had a bid of £3m for Lyndon Dykes turned down. Wonder if we have a sell-on clause. Martindale seemed to hint that we would get a chunk of money if QPR got promoted but I don't think a sell-on has been explicitly confirmed.
  20. Ayo was apparently carrying a knock after the Motherwell game as well so that might also be contributing to him not starting games.

  22. Weirdly St. Mirren are down as also having been refused a UEFA license despite having a Gold SFA license (Livingston are Bronze in comparison). I think it was mentioned that there are dispensations given to clubs to allow them to compete in certain circumstances.
  23. I agree but I wonder if we're being a bit harsh given the horrendous wind and the state of the pitch. Can't be easy to judge balls over the top in that condition. Edit: That said, should have recovered quicker. He seemed to stop after the mistake.
