  1. Agreed, it looked over but they only did one quick replay for some reason.
  2. Enjoyed that game, particularly the first half. In the second half, we were very dominant and should have scored more (again). Probably just about deserved to win but St. Johnstone unlucky to have not scored. Stephen Kelly was excellent, very impressed by him. Nouble and Bahamboula caused St. Johnstone (and most of the other teams they've faced) so many problems, we really really need to start killing off games when we're on top. ETA - Pleased for Bahamboula - he did well to take the shot on and was rewarded. Very satisfying to score a crap goal like that for a change.
  3. I'd be concerned if I were a Kilmarnock fan - that should have been a 2 or 3 goal win comfortably. Second half terrible but we ran the clock down well in the end. Really need to be more clinical, better teams will punish us. Montano man of the match again, what a run he's having. Working with a very on form Nouble is clearly bringing out the best in him.
  4. Kilmarnock commentators complaining about the pitch lol Hasn't stopped us playing good football in the first half.
  5. Goal was miles onside for those who haven't seen replays. Need to take another chance before Hearts bring on the big guns, I don't trust our defence to keep a clean sheet. Montano and Penrice have been excellent.

  7. Just said exactly this but I do think in Boyes, Fitzwater and Obileye we have 3 pretty good options already. 4 decent centre backs probably unnecessary as much as I like Shaughnessy.
  8. Daily Record reporting we are in for Stephen Kelly of Rangers. Don't think it's an area of the park we need to strengthen.
  9. Might be the worst shout from Ayr fans I've ever heard and there's been a lot. "Would take him".
  10. What I would say is that the B team keeper looks really young so I can understand the signing to a certain extent, even if my initial reaction was the same as yours. Maley would have probably been fine as 3rd choice until the end of the season by which time you have a plan in place for the younger keeper slot.
  11. Seems like a waste of time bringing another keeper in unless Ivan is also on his way.
  12. Stryjek is an ok keeper so this is a very good move for him. Better than McCrorie but it never felt like he really wanted to be here which probably led to inconsistent form. Too many mistakes for the amount of games where he really won us points. No idea what happened in the lead-up to the cup final but he definitely should have played. My heart sank when I saw the line-up that day with McCrorie in goals.
  13. Don't think so, his family have apparently just arrived from Russia. I think he will be here until the end of the season at a minimum. Given his performance against Bonnyrigg, he looks like a decent option.
  14. https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/livingston-defender-no-rush-leave-27731241 Not sure I have seen anyone comment on this. Would be a big loss.
  15. Can't say I'd describe us as rigid....certainly organised in defence but in an attacking sense we seem very fluid with Nouble, Pittman, Shinnie and even Omeonga interchanging positions. I'll give you that, the 5 midfielders can switch roles between each other. I meant rigid in the sense that it has felt like Nouble up top with a relatively deep 5 players behind him (usually Shinnie and Pittman slightly advanced as 8s). May just have been because we've led so early against Hibs and Rangers and have tried to remain compact. I'm on board with the tactics, I should say. Very effective in all 3 league games so far.
  16. Nice football but a bit too rigid to be better than last season's period with Forrest, Anderson and Bailey up top. Can't argue with the approach, the run of fixtures was horrible on paper.
  17. 5:17 and they're discussing the teams in Europe rather than the games just finished? Garbage.
  18. Some performance from Konovalov. 4 penalty saves and countless great saves in normal time in what was one of the most one sided games I've seen. Number 7 and 9 looked good in the first half but it was all about the defence and some horrendous finishing in the second half. Well done to the centre backs for putting in a brave performance against two big pros in Kevin Smith and McGachie.
  19. Fair play to the guy banging on about Nouble being best as a striker. I was very much of that opinion before I saw him playing for us and subsequently agreed he was better on the wing. Not sure if it's the way we are playing or if he has moved up a gear but he is looking unbelievable in that position so far this season. Anderson has a tough job getting the #9 spot back.
  20. I saw a few Livi fans on the Facebook page saying they were no longer season ticket holders and that the new process would make things a bit more difficult for them. I did see the suggestion elsewhere of a loyalty system which would probably resolve that problem for next season, if we're still in the league. Something like buy tickets for two/three non old firm home games then you can buy old firm home tickets as well.
  21. Not a fan of collars on strips and that collar is huge. Shame as rest of the strip is great.
