I have had that in my head for a week or so now. If he decides to stay after his holiday, it will probably work out fine without too much damage done. If he leaves after his holidays, we may be looking at a dire situation where we have to hire a manager then build half a squad in the space of two months. Unless Martindale is working behind the scenes on this, I suspect the better players will likely sign for rivals soon.

I think if your managers are worth their salt, they will play him as a right winger/midfielder. Not bad defensively but he is quick and has an excellent delivery.

Good move for him, if so. I imagine he will have trebled his wage. He may have left anyway but not having a manager firmly in place has contributed to this. 9 days to sort things out is a shambles.

I'm all for second chances but I think the likes of Goodwillie and Craig Thomson are too toxic even for us to take on. I agree with Armand 2 on Carlisle. Wouldn't have been surprised if we had failed to get promoted but this looks like a new chapter for the club which I imagine Hopkin et al. will want to take on.

Not sure if it was covered at the time but Hibs' Callum Crane has apparently signed a PCA with us. 2 year deal.

Bit of a storm in a tea cup here. The only way that Hopkin leaves for Morton is if the squad is completely decimated in the summer. I do not see that happening based on the moves we have made so far.

Rafa was an excellent striker for us but I don't think now he offers anything different from Hardie and Miller. Could definitely do a job if one of them is injured.

O'Ware is a good player but I imagine if he is leaving Morton, he has his sights set higher.
