    Top visiting teams need upper echelon opponents, I'm not surprised at all Moyesy picked up the phone to Burchill. As said by Daz, Clyde at home is pretty much the ideal draw if we're looking to progress. That said, horrendous to play them yet again.

    Nope, I agree Livi_Lad. The best thing about Kyle Jacobs was that he could do an okay job in a number of positions. If we get solid players in these positions anyway, he won't be a loss. Him and Sekajja basically sold that Dumbarton home game which looked crucial at the time. Glad to see them both out the door.

    I've pointed out examples of this on several occasions, Moonster. Former SFA Chief Executive Gordon Smith leading a crusade against Robbie Winters for allegedly diving is particularly damning evidence. Decided to undermine the referee despite the fact he was in the stand and the referee was five yards away. Unsurprisingly once we fought back, he was out on his arse. Incidents like this have been happening for years.

    1. It was a registration embargo, not a transfer embargo. We couldn't renew contracts. 2. We didn't use trialists. 3. How would you regulate teams not being allowed 'anywhere near transfer targets'? 4. The embargo was in place as a punishment for dual ownership from March, not January. Once this 'problem' was resolved, the embargo was lifted. You clearly haven't followed a bit of this story. Oh, and Eremenko.

    To be honest, he was stuck out at right-back all of last season so I'm unsure how good he'd be playing centre-half now. My instinct says yes, provided there was a decent player next to him.

    I'm not sad to see him go as he was rank rotten for a lot of the season. Definitely better right-backs out there for us.
