  1. Yeah, I think we're probably there now. We still have Brechin at home which should be a given and that would take us up to 58. I would be surprised if both Morton and Dunfermline pick up 12 points from their last 5 games and we pick up no more. For 2nd, I think 9 more points will get us there but it could well be less. Maximum points Dundee United - 67 Morton - 62 Dunfermline - 61 Inverness - 59 Falkirk - 58 QOTS - 57 A win on Tuesday would effectively guarantee us 6th based on the GD advantage to Falkirk. We just need to keep playing as well as we have been and we will very quickly ensure we are in the playoffs.
  2. Not sure about the rule regarding postponements. Is it 3 players on international duty?
  3. Have to admit, I fucked that one up due to reading on mobile. Airdrie have even less reason to take the piss than Ayr fans. Truly bizarre.
  4. Equally I have a lot of time for the Hackies. We are two similar clubs in a number of ways, with exception of financial management (prior to the phishing). Lots of strange memories associated with Hamilton - You bringing a massive away support to Almondvale in the Offiong/Mensing days, Stevie May schooling us with a hat-trick there too and releasing Tony Andreu before you solid him on two seasons later for £1 million. I think it was also after a rubbish away defeat to Hamilton where Lexi Collector and I got smashed on Dece Bombs on the train back to Edinburgh. Lexi blacked out.
  5. I really don't know how players departing can be what you are thinking about after last night's game.
  6. Is Keaghan Jacobs injured? Very disappointing he can't make the 18, if not.
  7. From #AM to #PM The platinum Machine is now boarding. Next stop 2nd place. #lol #brexitmeansbrexit
  8. Not the first time we've heard poor treatment for players not in favour in recent years. Best of luck to him at Airdrie.
  9. I think the recent speculation has been very unhelpful to the club. They all appear to have a good attitude and even if they want to move on at the end of their contracts, I don't see them downing tools for us based on their exceptional effort so far this season. The implication that Mullin wasn't played yesterday due to an impending transfer or that any recent poor form is as a result of him wanting to leave is pretty disrespectful. I'm surprised our own fans are allowing that to spread.
  10. I thought De Vita played pretty well in Inverness in the right back to right wing role. The positions in the middle of the park are fairly rigid but Hopkin is clearly looking for a great deal of flexibility within the players playing on the flanks. Agree with Durnford about the need for another centre-half. Longridge appears to be the 4th/5th option in there which is very concerning.
  11. Austin is clearly a very good player on his game. Hopefully a move can give him the confidence boost needed to be that player again.
  12. I am disappointed but hold no grudges against him. I think he's been a very good player for us over the past two or three seasons and will keep improving at a club which currently has more potential to grow than us. Probably good business for both parties. If the game goes ahead on Saturday, I think this may actually give us a much needed lift after three weeks off.
  13. How long must Josh Mullin spend practicing on delivering balls into the box? I can't remember seeing a player at this level as good as him.
  14. Dunfermline are a good team, no disgrace in a loss away from home. Important to bounce back next week against Brechin after chucking two points away last time.
  15. Mullin & Halkett are imperative, from the players I know are out of contract in the summer.
  16. A fucking striker when we played two centre-halves at full back on Saturday. Is he taking the piss? Best of luck to the guy but Hopkin truly is a tosser.
