  1. A sustained beating from start to finish.
  2. 4-0 after 4 rounds. Smith’s face is taking a pounding.
  3. February - 11 nights in Mexico (First holiday with a 4 month old baby) March - Cheltenham Festival June - Euros for 10 nights August - Chamonix for 5 nights.
  4. A 40 year old Ismael Barosso destroys Ohara Davies inside 2 mins. De La Hoyas new “golden boy” not really living up to the hype Oscar’s been giving him. Then a ridiculous first round stoppage in the main even with Vergil Ortiz, one of the worst I’ve seen.
  5. I’m fairly confident that I could count on one hand, the amount of things mentioned in this thread that I find funny.
  6. They told the guy they could post it to him, but that the cost of posting to the states would probably be more than Sgian Dubh would cost. In the end, he agreed to have it sent to a uk address. Slightly off topic but the American boxing trainer Bo Mac recently got arrested leaving Manchester airport with a loaded gun in his luggage that he’d forgotten about. He’d flown in from the states with it the previous week and it hadn’t been picked up by security.
  7. Witnessed an American guy lose the plot at security in Glasgow airport, on Boxing Day. He was trying to take a Sgian Dubh on the plane as hand luggage. He couldn’t grasp the fact that he wasn’t allowed to take a knife onto the plane.
  8. All 3 goals were good, but McGuffie’s was superb. Ambrose was very good at the back, probably the best I’ve seen him play for us. Most would have taken 10 out 12 points, for last 4 games. 2 points off playoffs, onwards we go into the new year.
  9. I’ve achieved many great things in life, the highlights being; Held a real life Emmy award. Saved a drowning man’s life at Bondi beach, briefly appearing in the smash hit tv series Bondi Rescue. Became the owner of a child. But… and I mean this from the bottom of my heart. In the words of the late, great, Sinead O’Connor - nothing compares to you(r words).
  10. Tennents lager, Beardmore bar, Glasgow airport.
  11. It certainly sounded like that was a farewell from Wilder after the fight. He was never the most talented fighter, but there’s been few better sights in sport than watching him unleash one of those bombs ferociously into someone’s face. Thank you for the memories.
  12. Fair play to Lyndon Arthur for lasting the 12 rounds. Pretty honest in his interview after the fight, no excuses, just beat by the better fighter who was just too good. The arse licking the boxers and promoters are giving the Saudi’s is nauseating. Understandable though, considering the money they’re throwing at them.
  13. Bivol is handing out a sustained beating here, he just doesn’t miss.
  14. Just managed to catch up. Tom was the deserved winner, his final 3 dishes looked incredible. Once Phillipe had gone, the outcome was inevitable as Tom was by some distance, the best chef left in the competition.
  15. Broken ribs and can’t continue apparently.
  16. Billam-Smith is being comfortably beat here, which means he’ll get the decision.
  17. Nobody on 12pts or above is paying 600 for a ticket, unless they want to. The points system is being deployed in the same way it has for years, with everyone on a certain total or above being guaranteed a ticket.
  18. I'd reconsider my mates if one of them went on like that.
  19. I'm similar, flights are; Manchester - Amsterdam - Stuttgart, Frankfurt - Manchester 14th - 24th. Staying in Stuttgart for the duration of the groups other than an overnighter for Cologne. Had 2 weeks of hotels booked in Dusseldorf, Berlin and Stuttgart so it's worked out alright.
  20. Tom will surely win this now.
  21. If Netanyahu has his way, I’d imagine it’ll be the complete genocide of the Palestinian people. It’s absolute horrific that the western governments are condoning the behaviour of the Israeli state.
  22. Jermall Charlo fails to make weight for his first fight in 2 and a half years. The fact that he was allowed to retain his title for so long without defending, highlights how much a joke the WBC are.
