EBT: Reaction within Scottish football to Rangers tax case ruling

The reaction featured is from SFA, SPFL, Rangers/David Murray and Celtic.

And there you have it in a nutshell. Proof, as if it was needed, that our national, tv tax funded, public service broadcaster, the major media outlet for Scottish football, considers 'Scottish football' to be the Hampden suits and the bigot brothers.  It's a destructive little cartel that will never change.

  2. I hope for Stevie's sake Neil gets the job and he stays at Preston to give it a proper go this season. If he has to go to any other club in Scotland than us I'm glad it would be Aberdeen but if he comes back now it'll be as the guy whose career was wrecked by injury so had to head back to Scotland. At least have one full, post-injury season before risking that.

Hendry will no doubt play plenty for the U20s but being 1997-born, he's technically too old for that squad as the cut-off for the Development League is 01/01/1998 for next season I believe. Which leaves you asking, what's the point? Soccerway and Transfermarkt show him as going on loan to Clitheroe (level 8 of the English pyramid) in 2015/16, then last season featuring mainly for Blackburn's U18s and not even their U23s, for whom he only played 27 minutes of football.

I know you need a squad but it's more money away on a guy that'll never trouble the first team.

He played for the first team yesterday. ;)

Looks like he's had a terrible time with leg injuries which have doubtless fucked his career. All in all it looks like a bit of a textbook Saints signing.

    Yeah it was

Now that's Scougall has signed you can spill the beans! You were always confident he'd sign and less than 24 hours after getting back from holiday he's done the deed. Was this all agreed before he went to Dubai and one of these 'I'll definitely sign for you when I get back from holiday' deals that actually happened?

Yes, but apart from that...

I actually knew it was Motherwell cos I remember wondering was that the 7-2 game where McGhee lost the plot, so I've no idea why by the time I typed it I'd turned them into Ross County??

In my (admittedly weak) defence it was written in a slight red wine haze..

You're basic concept was right though. Probably about 95% of the time you see pics of diddy players in the media they're playing against the bigot brothers.

Celtic: Leigh Griffiths critical of Dave King's 'ludicrous' gulf claims

This is a classic example of the utter puerile dross that masquerades as football journalism in Scotland and that we are forced to fund. The lead 'story' in Scottish football for f**k sake. When you think you can't up the level of hatred you have for the Bigots Broadcasting Corporation they come out with toe curling crap like this.
