  1. Theobald did indeed look comfortable, yet more nonsense from our dim manager not to at least try him a la Wallner. As for latapy, it's funny how you see things differently. I recall him coming on, strolling through their midfield with little difficulty, and coming close on at least one occasion with a shot.
  2. Latapy ran the show v Paraguay as I recall. Remember the Jason Scotland song on YouTube, lol.
  3. The last book or two were poor.
  4. Is she also the "most beautiful girl in the room" in Flight of the Conchords?
  5. OK then, I'll counteract that, by the following statement: "There's no way I'm renewing until <INSERT NEW MANAGER NAME HERE> gets appointed. No way!"
  6. On the right - The Castle pub, with small beer garden (under redecoration here it seems!). The river Medway, and the daft wee birdy fell in just out of sight from this angle, a few metres from the bridge on the left hand bank.
  7. Funnily enough, I saw something really sad, pigeon related in Kent. Two of the horrible little gits were stotting along the Medway bank in tonbridge as I was enjoying an evening pint in a beer garden. One of them, let's assume it was the male, slipped and fell in the river. He surfaced, and tried to climb, soaked, back out onto the muddy bank. Of course, he could not, despite frantic attempts while the female looked concerned and helpless. He then spent ten horrible minutes getting weaker and weaker, and eventually slipped under the water and drifted downstream. The female looked stricken and walked along beside him for a bit before disappearing. I'm no friend of pigeons, but it was horrible to see. PS they were on the other side of the river and there was no way I could help him.
  8. Keep repeating the lie enough times, and eventually it will become the truth.
  9. The club is called The Rangers, formerly known as Sevco Scotland. They are owned by Rangers International.
  10. I'm gonna come right out and say it - snafu's becoming worryingly rational and sensible these days. Is he the acceptable face of sevco?
  11. I've applied for two jobs on myjobscotland recently. One closed last Friday, and I heard yesterday. The other closed FIVE WEEKS AGO and still nothing. Disgrace.
  12. Yaaaaaaaas two years you've been waiting to use that gag!
  13. Turnbull was reasonable in the first few games of the season; did not really stand out either way. Put it this way, if reserves 8 million miles away from our first team like Craig Comrie, and an out-of-his-depth striker like Jordan White can stroll it, he'll do fine.
  14. Born in Ninewells, and at six years old or so, he chose a club from where he was born. He is eight now.
  15. Delighted for saints. Was in the main stand with the Arabs (my son is one) and by jiminy what a dour moany excuse for supporters they were. Not one song, chant, even a roar of encouragement. Pish of 99% of you not to stay for the presentation. Most people came, watched the game, and, er went away without ever getting involved. My lad was of course sobbing awfully at the end, and I had tears in my eyes too. In sympathy for him, but also because a) I know how much this means to so many saints fans of my acquaintance, and b) pure jealousy when my side have come so close twice in my lifetime. Well done again saints, and keep the faith United.
  16. And its gravitational field is so strong you can see partway round the back of it.
  17. Yeah, but your friends at the SFA helped. I heard Rangers got 11 penalties.
  18. Farid's got a Ramsden's Cup final winner's medal from 2012. (The boy's a legend. Was brilliant with the fans on saturday, and my wee laddie is totally starstruck after getting a signed programme).
  19. Mine arrived today as well. For the main stand, despite ordering quite clearly for the north stand.
  20. Sad I know, but I emailed them about it a few days ago, even handily including the web link to the SPFL page detailing them. No response. >_>
