  1. Is there a funny handshake i've to you give you before you tell me anything Troy?
  2. Surely if they lose that judgement they have no case for ownership to sell the club. Pretty much hinges on who has Robert Wilson's shares.
  3. Think that would end up worse than the discussions on here. This ownership battle is like the general elections, whoever wins, it's the same old pish. Short term i'm more going with what causes the least damage for our current season, as neither side are exactly great. Longer term I'd prefer the club being sold to a new owner who has ties to neither side, as i don't trust any of them, and this debacle has blame on both sides, for it being allowed to get to where it has. Ward was trying to get the club sold but with these ownership/shares issues nobody in their right mind would touch us, haven't a clue what Rankine and Hogarth plan going forward. On the footballing side of things, the way we are just now with parachute payments and European money we have a decent chance of going for promotion, but there are question marks over Martindale now, and if it'll be different from last season, squad wise it looks like decent signings, and the core group we've kept (Nottingham aside). So i'm just holding my judgement for a look at the team to see how we're set up. Talking of which, doesn't time fly, first look at the team tomorrow, in our pre season game against Alloa.
  4. Doesn't really help anyone though does it, having us all sniping at one another. Two sides to every ownership battle, but you seem to have picked yours, and made your mind up which one is right. Would be good getting both sides out in the open so we could make our minds up which one is the more likely to be right, but as you say, the court case will decide it, but it wont be till December, and maybe even longer if it goes to another court hearing.
  5. Nah a hospital pass is when your having to commit yourself fully to getting the ball and risking being injured, when you barely have time to get a touch on it and you know you're getting clobbered. Suicidal passing it to Ralston would be a better description, knowing how shite he is he'd prob give the ball away.
  6. Was like when they did a HT segment about the Sevco keeper during a Championship game. What are the chances they'll do a Scotland one at HT during the Denmark v England game?
  7. Read not much happens in this week's episode, mostly just wandering through a jungle, so think i'll let it build up before watching any more, then just binge it. Big question is who is the Sith master behind Mae's mission to assassinate Jedi masters.
  8. I know we've been playing in the Premiership the last 6 seasons and Falkirk have been in League one for 5 of those, but it's like you're stuck in a time loop from 20 years ago the patter you've come out with on here the last few days.
  9. Is this a sample of the inane babble Falkirk fans are going to be posting all season, had forgotten how deranged they were, with them being nothing more than a speck of dust under our feet the last 6 seasons.
  10. It was on another football forum, can't remember exactly the spoiler now, think i casually mentioned someone being killed had shocked me, as he was a big character, and everyone thanked me for ruining it for them, oops.
  11. Some of this convo is going back a couple of episodes so not sure i needed to stick it in a spoiler, but i once completely spoiled a GoT series for everyone so i'm taking nae chances.
  12. Yeah was expecting it to be really shite, but didn't do anything to put me off watching the rest of it.

    The Boys

Going to have to get back into this, think i was about half way through S3, and had only watched the first episode of the Gen V one too.
  14. Aye i saw that, Martindale would be better staying off talking to the media coming out with comments like that. Barton's not someone you'd want to be associating yourself with, let alone coming out saying he's a really good guy. Makes Richard Keyes look like a choir boy.
  15. Well we are where we are due to being relegated from the Premiership, what we'll do this season will be helped by parachute payments and European money, no loans*. See above post for natural level, out of the 29 years as Livi we've been in the top 2 tiers about 24 seasons, 11 of those in the top flight. First time round we weren't living within our own means, but this time round we were, and got promoted with the lowest FT budget. Only loan we have is the covid Govt one, which every top flight club excepts Celtic took when we were in the Premiership.
  16. You say that Troy but there can't be much in it between our time in the top flight and 2nd tier. Take out about 5 or 6 seasons we've fannied about in the lower 2 tiers as we passed through them a couple of times, we've been in the top flight 11 seasons which leaves about 12/13 seasons in the 2nd tier.
  17. Not this season anyway, with the parachute payment and European money we'll get, we'll have one of the biggest budgets. Next season will be a completely different prospect though. The season we won promotion our budget was said to be the lowest from the FT teams, and we were punching above our weight finishing 2nd, above the likes of Dundee Utd, Dunfermline and Falkirk, then winning the play offs.
  18. Aye i was fishing. The difference between us the last 5 seasons was 2 divisions, even in the 3rd tier crowd size didn't help Falkirk much. One thing Falkirk fans can be commended on though, they're not glory hunters, you've a big, and loyal fanbase.
