Fantastic signing, quality player at this level and gives us a great impact sub for the Alloa game.

Hope that's all we get, could get a points deduction and fined, aren't any fixed rule stating punishments, they can impose any punishment they want on us.

That fecks up their plans to keep the Welsh and Norn Irish teams apart, if Crusaders get awarded the match they'll have to play TNS. What is it with Livi though, why doesn't someone know the rules down there, they thought cup comps didn't count for suspensions in league games. I read on the Alloa thread that Goodwin had served his 2 match suspension, one in the league and one in the cup, and he was sent off the same weekend as Lithgow, was thinking at the time we're in trouble if that's true.

Our game against TNS is on; Sunday November 13, 2016 Livingston v The New Saints Live on BBC ALBA and S4C, kick-off 4.05pm At least it has a later ko, so can still go for a few beers pre match and not feel like an alky drinking in the morning for a pre match pint.

Brilliant ending, never get tired watching that winning goal and the celebrations.

Always thought Cleland would've made a good manager, he had a couple of games in charge for us in the SPL and won them both, playing good looking football too. He wasn't interested in the managers job though and don't think he has been since, seems happy just being a youth coach.

Wasn't an anti climax for us. Our goalie wasn't our first choice but thought he did well, got MoTM didn't he? Made some brave saves going into the post and taking a hit clearing the ball, and a fine save tipping it over the bar too. Couple of dodgy moments but on the whole he was good. Thought your keeper should've been booked for the studs up challenge into Buchanan (I think), we were offside but it was still a dangerous challenge that could've seriously injured our player. We had a hand ball stonewaller of a penalty too which the ref ignored, stopped the ball going in the net as our shot was on target. Hoppy left out our two wing players for most of the game but when they eventually came on they turned the game, Mullin scored with his first touch and Cadden put in both crosses for our goals. Wouldn't have taken Byrne off either and kept Knox on, that was the area we conceded a goal from, holding midfield, for me Knox is too lightweight and young to be starting games, don't mind him coming on for a bit of experience in the last 15 mins when we've the game won but he was keeping better players sitting on the bench in this game. Turned out ok in the end with an exciting finish to the game, but imo Cadden and Mullin would've had it won for us a lot sooner playing from the start.

Aye but anything that's worthwhile is.

Mark Burchill for the Alloa job, Burchill v Hopkin would be better than Guardiola v Mourinho.

Good come back but some dodgy goal keeping there for a couple of your goals.

Bollan wouldn't put a player up on the halfway line when we were defending corners and that annoyed me, Hopkin has 2 players up so i like that, it takes at least 3 opposition players back to mark them. He's doing a lot better than I thought he would anyway, really thought we'd be mid table this season, or worse. His signings have been good and I like the way he sets the team out, there's only been two games we've struggled in and lost them both but that happens, both those teams are good, esp at home, and will take points off Brechin and Alloa too. Maybe switching to a back 4 would've worked but maybe it wouldn't have made any difference, we were struggling against balls hit into our box from all over the pitch, having a LB & RB with 2 CB's wouldn't have helped with that.

Good player when he's in the mood, unfortunately it isn't that often, and it's usually just in big games he scores goals. Don't think he suited Hopkin's style of play either though, Hopkin wants players to put in a shift tracking players and doing defensive work as well as attack, Hippo is pretty good if you give him the ball to go forward but wasn't always wanting to track back and defend. He's still a young guy though so maybe he'll sort himself out and work on that attitude of his.

He was slow with us last season, got caught out quite a few times and just fouled a player (or attempted to foul him), got a red card against Morton when Pepper left him for dead and he tripped him. Maybe he just suddenly lost a yard of pace but it was quite noticeable to us Livi fans he was vulnerable to anyone with a bit of pace. Still a very good signing at this level though and would've been pretty happy to have still had him at Livi.

Bugger, bit slow but very good at making goal line clearances and defending inside the box. Will allow Goodwin to get back in midfield too where he is at his best, was happy seeing Goodwin playing in defence against us.

Watching Livi and not being able to drink, ooft. That would've been torture last season.

Good luck to DJ, lost his way the last 2 seasons after having a good season in goal when we won the cup and avoided relegation in the great escape. Good shot stopper and brilliant at saving penalties but needs to work on coming for high balls and his kicking.

Good signing if you get him. Was more thrilled having Telfer to start with but Stanton won me over, looked better the more games he played and scored sme cracking goals.

Knox is down at Man Utd training and playing in a bounce game today, 150K has been mentioned as the figure we're asking. Deadco are still wanting to sign him too so manybe we'll see a bidding war.

I hope we make certain of that then, we can't afford to make a mistake that would get us a points deduction.

Heard Raith were after him, and Bratislava have offered him a trial, that's where Burchill is. I think it's December before his jail sentence is up though. I read McMillan is banned from playing till November, got a month off his ban which was meant to be till Dec.
