  1. Looks like we're signing this fella, same position as Thomson so doubt we'll be signing both of them. http://www.deadlinenews.co.uk/2015/11/23/livingston-manager-mark-burchill-in-talks-with-australian-kid-jacob-esposito/
  2. The old Hearts line springs to mind here, we were going or six defenders. He's playing midfield for Newtongrange, if it's on the right wing then that was an obv area we were weak in, the Morton game exposed our weakness there. Sheerin & Pittman have done well coming from the juniors, seem to be looking for players that have dropped down from playing at a higher level and giving them another shot at it. On a plus side, it certainly takes the heat off Gallagher's conviction.
  3. Has potential but needs to look at White for an example of hard work improving your game, White has improved a lot this season, really impressed with his hold up play, jumping and taking the ball down on his chest, winning just about every header, you can see he's worked on improving himself. He started well against Clyde in a cup game and scored a belter of a 25 yarder, then his shooting was weak and off target for the games up till his red card against Dumbarton. Can have defenders run ragged and be a great asset but too many times he'll lose the ball in midfield and cause us problems. Also as Orco said, needs to improve his decision making in the final third. Great player on his day but lots of room for improvement and unless he works hard on his game he wont be any more than a lower league journeyman..
  4. Faria and Gibbons aren't there to open up defences, they're holding midfielders to break up play, not everyone is meant to be an attacking midfielder. Glen, Hippo and Pittman can open up defences, Pittman and Hippo have the skill to take on players and Glen has shown he links well with White in setting up his goals. Interesting the Hearts poster said creative isn't how he'd describe Anderson though.
  5. Yep, Pittman is creative and Faria & Gibbons gives us dig to break up play, Glen is also doing ok and links up well with White. Hippo is also creative when he can get his head in the game. Georgiev and Cole seem surplus to requirement though, one is injured all the time and the other has been a bit too lightweight. I'd much rather have a FB, or even a pacey winger.
  6. Scottish cup draw this morning, here's hoping for; 23. Linlithgow Rose v 24. Livingston.
  7. Good job McCulloch wasn't playing for us then, no doubt he'd have elbowed Oduwa in the face a few times if he had. Gibbons is just a poor Jason Talbot tbh. Seen far worse treatment handed out to Scougall when he played for us, or Fernandez in our SPL days, the most fouled player in the league in our first season. All this shite just takes away from our well disciplined defensive performance that frustrated the hell out of deadco.
  8. Have i missed something here, has Oduwa's leg been broken, was it a career ending tackle, holly feck, talk about blown ot of proportion, he got up and played another 40 odd minutes.
  9. Thought Burchill's game plan was pretty good last night, good discipline in defence and the way he set us out at the back with Gordon/Gallagher/Neill covering for Millen and Longridge being ripped on the flanks was spot on. Deadco hardly got a clear shot on our goal and they were very rushed and sloppy trying to play passes into our box, took a good shot from outside the box skidding on the wet grass to get their goal. Gordon's goal line clearance was superb too, he had a great game. We didn't have much possession but we did create some decent moves in attack but they just didn't quite come off to get a shot at goal, Glen's ball across to White on the centre of the pitch on the edge of the box, the cross that unfortunately had Buchanan there trying to head it and not 6ft 5 White, Sheerin making space for a shot. I still think Sheerin needs to start with either White or Buchanan though, just don't think Buchanan and White works as well. would like to see us try White & Sheerin with Buchanan in the hole playing behind them.
  10. We aren't a franchise though, silly boy. Would be good if you knew what you were talking about when trying to take the pizza out of us.

  12. Couldn't get into our team as a CB so glad he's found a team he can play in that position, nice guy.
  13. Being knocked out by our dual interest wee team.
  14. Nice pic of a Dumbarton player running into Talbot's studs.
  15. Erm, you employed Riordan didn't you? Hello mister pot, meet mr kettle.
  16. Aye bud, their farts must smell of rose petals as they couldn't possibly have anything as smelly as shite up their arses with how pure they all are on here.
  17. Yeah I'm sure if he wanted to slum it in the seaside league at Cowden your club would knock him back. You should be so lucky.
  18. Perhaps the papers are behind with their story this time, McDougall was asked for his keys and told he wasn't welcome after the meeting before he went on STV news, but the next day his pic was back up on the OS as a director after being taken down. Not heard anymore on the matter since then other than the Trust offering to mediate between the two parties.
  19. Doubt his appeal will be heard this year, but he obv can't play if he loses and goes to jail. Was a stand out for us last season so on the playing side of things it is a great signing. He was on the subs bench against Clyde last week and meant to be as a favour to make up the numbers for that game. May well be again this week as we've a few injuries, some doubtful with injuries, and another still waiting on international clearance. More needing a midfielder than striker though, we're already playing 3 of our strikers as attacking midfielders.
