  1. Prob some Pars fans on this thread telling us what he was like when we signed him, good going forward, not very good defensively. I'd stick him in midfield if I was choosing his position, would do a good job as a winger, just not a wingback..
  2. I'm not disputing they weren't good at Falkirk, you're opinion on them is tainted by that experience. White is improving all the time, he's a different players from the one you had at Falkirk. O'Brien was a good young player at Livi, when he came back his experience was needed to keep us up, he's on his last legs at this level though, hasn't the stamina to play a full season week after week. Sounds like Ollie could go either way, some Falkirk fans rate him, some don't, seems he had off field problems that messed him up when he was at Falkirk, so maybe he's ready to give it a go again.
  3. O'Brien was good for us the twice he played at Livi, White has been pretty good too, i'd be happy if Ollie turned out like them.
  4. Should fit in well at Livi, we've a team of players that occasionally look good but most games pass them by.
  5. Cheers, here's hoping something happens tomorrow then, and it is a winger.
  6. Andy, have you heard anymore about the wingers we're looking to get on loan, and when we're likely to get them?
  7. I don't think it was enough for us to just have a player like Faria for breaking up play, and then passing side ways or back to someone that is more comfortable on the ball then him, it slowed things down too much. Fotheringham looks a better player for us, one that gets the ball and makes a pass forward to set up an attack.
  8. Marc McCallum has left Dundee Utd by mutual agreement, so we wont be getting him back on loan. If he's coming back it will have to be as a signing.
  9. Didn't take long to get up to speed with his drivel did it. Best not prod the poor soul any, he gets worse with the repetitive tedious chat if you do and you'll never get rid of him.
  10. Away and get a room, would save the rest of us from being bored to death too.
  11. Same patter he's used for years, rather sad really, like watching someone with alzheimer's.
  12. He looked good today, liked the energy he brought to our midfield.
  13. Wish Cole would leave too, hasn't tried a leg when he's played earlier in the season.
  14. Hell of a good of St Mirren giving him a game and some training to get him a bit fitter to play for us, cheers. Yeah he'll be a bit rusty but should still be a good signing for us, brings experience and as I said, he'll link up play to Buchanan and White. Scored a belter of a free kick against Falkirk when he played for us before, so hopefully still has that in his locker.
  15. Faria was ok, midfield muscle with limited ability on the ball. Fozzy has more skill and should link up play better with the strikers.
  16. Well I like his first signing Fotheringham back at Livi. http://livingstonfc.co.uk/fozzy-returns-hugo-moves/ Certainly gives us something different in midfield, an experienced skilful ball player that pick out a pass.
  17. Ones that will give us something different would be good, basically all we've got from the bench is Sheerin and Hippo. Hipppo is hit or a miss whether he'll be any good, and although Sheerin has made a difference when he comes on it's usually at the expense of Buchanan, who i'd rather we kept on. I suppose we'd have given a new manager a few games to get his stamp on the team but Hopkin has been 2nd coach all season, and in charge of our last 3 games, so he isn't going to get any slack from the fans.
  18. Not a fan of this decision either but we'll see how things go when he puts 'his stamp' on the team. Hopefully he can bring in some decent-ish players to help improve the team and give us more options from the bench too. Spas and Moses could go for all the use they've been, Cole and Sives are both long term injuries so would be harsh punting them, but both are surplus to requirement even if fit, Cole esp has been disappointing in the games he has played.
  19. Not sure about Murray, he wasn't much cope at St Mirren, who'd have a hell of a lot bigger budget than us. Did a great job at Dumbarton though so hopefully he can sort us out enough to stay up. We need someone in asap to sort out this shambles of a team, Hopkin saying they're not fit enough to play 3 games in a week, ffs, what are they doing down there, sitting on their arses playing x box?
  20. Pundits know feckall about Livi, they should've come and watched his last 2 games in charge and maybe it wouldn't have been such a shock to them.
  21. Credit where it's due to the DR, must've been some job finding a pic of Burchill looking so animated during a game. On the promoting players from the youth team, we didn't have a league for them to play in as we didn't enter the development league so we took them into the squad to kick their heels until they were eventually put out on loan to junior teams. The DR just likes to shit stir and has no clue about anything in football.
  22. After our worst performance of the season against Alloa he was on a one loss (or must win) game away from the sack against Dumbarton and St Mirren. His 2nd half tactics and refusing to bring on his other 2 subs was the final straw, and the one sub he did use was a player just back from injury, while Buchanan was left sitting on the bench. Totally bewildering from Burchill!! His post match comments on Dumbarton tv didn't help, saying the players and fans were panicky, the fans weren't panicky, they were angry and confused with his tactics and lack of substitutions in the 2nd half.
  23. Is Hopkin away too, please don't let him take over as manager.
  24. Yep, would imagine it's the same for all the teams down the bottom. Tbh the Dumbarton result is a W/D for us too, as long as we don't lose. If we draw with Dumbarton I'd be looking for us to get a win against St Mirren, draw or lose in both those games and we're going to be the same as last season, struggling to stay up again. Alloa are seen as this season's whipping boys but as everyone knows, you can't take any game for granted, would be gutted and pissed off if we didn't beat them though. Really, really have to win that game so we aren't going to be drawn into a relegation scrap with them.
  25. I feel this will define our season, anything less than 8 points out of those four games and we're going to be down the bottom struggling to stay out of the play off spot, 8 points or above and I think we'll put some distance between us and 9th place to be comfortably mid table come the end of the season. Alloa-W Dumbarton-W St Mirren-W/D QoS-D Hoping for something like that and have 8-10 points
