There was a thread on here a while back where drinking costs were discussed and some studenty types were talking about how they regularly go out with a relatively small amount for an entire night out. It was something like "I'll spend £3 on cider for the house, £1 into the union, buy five pints at £2 and five shots at £1 each and have £3 left for a kebab". I remember it all seeming very strict and regimented and definitely not fun. They were rightly pilloried.

I Google searched for the totally real and ultra rare "adidas Old Kilpatrick" and found a website called faketrainers4unotrealshithead.Philippines.scam.com.org and bought them in good faith for $79.95, but when a pair of old Gola arrived in their stead, I took to P&B to find my avenger! But rather than a hero, I instead found a cruel and mocking supervillian, who made a, clearly jesting, post about working for VISA stating that he could cure what ails me. I immediately sprang into action and sent him a PM, then, when he revealed that I was an idiot, I just as quickly made a bunch of hollow threats on the forum and disappeared for a long, long time. Excelsior!

I bought a pair of ultra rare adidas online and then gave my bank card details to a Killie fan on P&B to get my money back. Still waiting to batter him for conning me.

Working from home last week and this week and don't think I can face going back to the office next week. Last time I worked from home "for a few days" it was 6 months before I stepped foot in the office again.

Wouldn't make a damn bit of difference to finding the leak as the gas is capped off until they return tomorrow, but it might make me feel a wee bit better. Alternatively, send money as this shit is costing me a fucking fortune.

Tiled my hallway floor about a year ago and it looked class. Smelled gas the other day and the engineer confirmed it's somewhere between the meter and the kitchen, so the tiles have had to be ripped up to access the gas line. Couldn't find the leak yet, so tomorrow they're coming back to rip up my living room carpet and floorboards and run a new line through the kitchen wall. Bealing.
