    Counting House is pish. A boring non-entity. Opposite side of George Square is The Spirit, that's decent. Horseshoe Bar is good and easy to get to from the station. Dow's is right outside Queen Street exit and is a decent traditional pub.

    There was a Kensitas Club shop in Glasgow city centre that redeemed the vouchers in exchange for goods. You needed a mental amount to get anything. A Kensitas Club branded holdall was about 500 coupons.

    Talking to a colleague recently about things our kids won't experience. Top of the list was waiting all b*****d day in a queue at the bank/ post office to pay bills in cash then updating the bank book with your new balance.
