Every time I read a Gaz FFC post, I feel like I'm reading a redtop tabloid.

All levity aside though, he really is punching. The baldy, lanky fud has himself a wee smasher.

The point about underlying issues causing these behaviours is an interesting one, and shouldn't be discounted. However, I would still suggest that for persons on the inside of an unhappy relationship to make positive changes for their own good. Whatever form those may take. There really is nothing worthwhile to be gained from staying miserable.

It's been a bacon-fest since we got promoted. Gives a man worries having that many fuzz about.

On the flipside of that though, it's usually the bawbag show off in any group of friends who throws a strop and whines that friends aren't available at their beck and call quite as much when they have a partner.

Bizarre, isn't it? Like you, I always let my wife know of my plans as it means we can check for schedule conflicts which would affect childcare etc, but I can't imagine being in a relationship where I would need to ask permission from my other half to socialise. Likewise I'd never dream of telling her what she can and cannot do. She's my spouse, not my parent, or my child. People who are in relationships like that either don't realise that they're being abused or do know it but don't have the spine to walk away from the abuse.

With the exception of Pedro Moutinho, whose signing as a coach I have no objection to, but who as a player I believe would not be good enough, I can't see any real weaknesses, on paper at least, with this season's squad so far. It's only early days yet, of course, but the signs so far are all very positive.

Small and quick(ish). A goal scorer, has a finishers knack of being in the right place at the right time. Needs to improve his all round game though.
