  1. true. but the hulk will be a different prospect tonight.
  2. I've served twice. both times guilty. second time lunch was better.
  3. is it aberdeen or glasgow? glasgow could be good fun -total nutters/murderers and decent lunch. aberdeen I have no knowledge of.
  4. absolutely. I had to change my pattern to 5.30am rising rather than previously around 8ish once you're up, you're up sure you'll have a headache for the first bit or so but once you're moving it passes. actually I found winding down again a problem.
  5. you know aside from loving academia and learning. I agree that its irritating for people to praise it by condemning another strata of society because as you say, you never know when you'll end up in that strata. though your comment does go on to have tones of what I believe swampy coined anti-intellectualism in another thread which sadly for the intellectual among us is pervading society. but again agree re the boasting by putting other strata down.
  6. not that you're wrong. and well done, but do you go about morally correcting the great unwashed a lot? it seems quite a dangerous approach to me!
  7. the lunches -the three times I've had to do it- have always been reasonable.
  8. he's right though. I'd want at least a fish supper thrown in too.
  9. me neither. probably never will, unless I win the lottery and get my veyron
  10. indeed I was waiting for at least a decent fireball or something.
  11. quite right. it would never end well had I ever tried that route.
  12. that irish bint who presented blue peter seems to be on this week for no apparent reason other than she's blonde with a nice arse.
  13. it's always struck me as a thoroughly dangerous sport. My favourite casualty episode was the one with squash involved where the bloke tripped broke his racket ad the pointy bit cut his carotid when he fell.
  14. sawdust everywhere, tubes everywhere, clips everywhere, nightmare. back in the day when I had one, none of this nonsense.
  15. when did small rodent -yes rotostak- 'cages' become so fucking complex to assemble?
  16. this kids party programme on bbc1, oh dear. more money than sense.
  17. i'd agree with that. I follow him but generally its like "hosting the proms tonight." etc. boring.
  18. well I follow mostly celeb types. such as the five live golf team, stephen fry, some american celebs, guidofawlkes, bbc laura k drudge victoria coren, simon pegg bafta the bbc f1 lot. and various others that will be meaning less to you. I think I have about 2 followers -both family
  19. ah. well that's easy fixed. just make sure you take enough for the train fare.
  20. is this the same one who you may have betrayed indirectly? I suggest taking a good book and an ice pack.
  21. I may have inadvertently overreacted and acted like a bit of a c**t earlier. This has had unforseen side effects. for all of that I'm hugely regretful.
  22. 1. what course is this? 2. what variables are you measuring? 3. you'll get good advice on the animal husbandry from others and I notice that you are. 4. what questions are you trying to answer? 5. do the brine shrimp eat algae then?
  23. i'd never have thought he'd get that genetic and probably inherited characteristic....
