The animated series "What if?" Coming up on Disney + looks decent. Looks at loads of different alternate realities in the MCU. Captain Carter, different team ups etc. Seems to be in a similar vein to Spider verse so Marvel seem keen to try and replicate the success of that.

Yeah, I'm wary of the road universities will go down. Assuming there will be less foreign students again next year, universities will remain under pressure to bring more money in and having mostly online courses allows them to enrol more students, making them more money but also just making the postgraduate employment bottleneck worse. Glad I've already gotten everything I need from uni!

Cheers. We were very lucky with her. Was still going for two walks a day by the start of April but the decline came swiftly. Were convinced we were losing her in February last year but she rallied and we got another great year.

The top flight time machine podcast has been doing a deep dive of these comics for two years now. In them, Roy is a corrupt, possibly murderous Tory with nothing but disdain for football. They are tremendous and that is now the character I have in my head for Roy Race, having been too young to have been a reader.

Had to let our dog go a few weeks ago. She was a few days after her 15th birthday and her quality of life was rapidly going downhill. Could barely get herself out of bed by the end and she was terrible at night, barely able to lie down. During the day she'd usually pick up but the gaps between the good days and the bad were getting longer to the point where it would have been unfair to keep her going. Devastated to lose her.

Had a week's residential on Castle Toward in P7 which I mostly enjoyed apart from being put in a group and dorm with none of my pals. Did Ardentinny twice in S2 and S6 which was alright. Only ever tried to get on one of the overseas trips, the Ardeche watersports one but didn't get picked. Have yet to get on one as a teacher due to the nature of temporary contracts and the fact that residentials have died in the water since covid. Love the idea of it but there are a lot of kids I teach whom I don't trust to take to the library, let alone a foreign land.

Insane that I'm also still expected to be in tomorrow even though by lunchtime I may be getting told to isolate.
