Moult's lob at Hampden was a funny one for me.  I was hungover to f**k at the game, and we were right behind it in the corner of the East Stand.  I was convinced, absolutely convinced, that the ball had gone over the bar, hit the back of the advertising boards, and then hit the other side of the net.  That's why my brain told me.  I initially turned to my mate, who was going tonto, to tell him it hadn't gone in.  I was only when I realised the full Motherwell squad running away celebrating that I knew it had in fact dropped in.

A wee bit gutted that I never got the chance to properly celebrate the goal, but I still love watching the replays of it.

McHugh's on Sunday was a special one.  I was in the Main Stand, and the boy behind me said afterwards that he didn't see the ball hit the net as me and my mate were up celebrating as soon as it left McHugh's foot.  You don't get those kind of celebrations as a fan too often, IMO, so I'll treasure that one for a long time.  My reaction to it reminded me of mine to another volley against Hearts, when O'Donnell fired one into the same goal, around about 2004.

I did the exact same. As soon as he hit it I turned my back while muttering about him being a glory hunting b*****d (or something along those lines) only to then see everyone behind me going mental. Turned back round to see the team celebrating and the ball sitting in the net. Didn't actually see the goal until I saw the highlights later on and realised how much of a fanny I am.

  2. Like most, I'm happy that it doesn't look like we'll be involved in the relegation fight and we can hopefully just sit back and watch while the other 4/5 (depending on how St. Johnstone's games in hand go) fight it out.

However, after the start we had I can't say I'm not a bit disappointed about missing out on the top 6. The games against Celtic then the run in December really has scunnered us.

  3. I got a Samsung tablet for Christmas and have been having problems with the internet on it. It connects to the router no bother but every half hour or so I get an exclamation mark next to the WiFi icon and it says "connected, no internet access." This lasts for a minute or two before everything then goes back to normal and starts working again but the problem then repeats itself.

The confusing thing for me is that, while the tablet says there's no internet access, every other device on the same network is fine. I've tried forgetting the network and reconnecting, I've rebooted the router and I've done a factory reset of the tablet. None of these things appear to have worked and this is as far as my technical know-how will take me. Does anyone have any ideas?

  4. Based on absolutely nothing really, I have a feeling Fisher will make the step up when Moult leaves.

He reminds me a bit of Higdon when he signed in that it looked like he might not be the right fit at first. Fisher strikes me as similar in that it might just take a few starts and a couple of goals to get him going.

Not sure whether Robinson would feel the same or if we'll look to get in a replacement for Moult.

  5. Had to stand in the aisle of one as soon as I got on the train this morning and had to keep moving at various stops as more folk got on.

Some c**t obviously felt I was a bit too close (which I would have been but it couldn't be helped) so rather than ask if there was any way I could move slightly he decided it would be a better idea to shove me and punch the back of my leg. Part of the issue was also caused by another c**t who decided to take his mountain bike on a peak time train.

    I love public transport.

  6. Just downloaded this as the special edition is currently going for £34.99 on the PlayStation store.

Enjoying it so far despite having had to replace my front wing numerous times.

  7. My old Picasso had the spare suspended underneath. Had to remember to grease the long attachment bolt now & again or it seized up & was a bugger to get the wheel out.
Saw something on Faudbook last night about someone who traded their car in with AC - got £500 and it was seen later on sale for £2,500.00 - some mark up.

All the main dealers are the same. I traded my first car in with Peter Vardy in Motherwell and got £600.00 for it. Found it on Autotrader a week later for £1600.00. Didn't bother me too much as I couldn't be arsed selling it privately.
