  1. Good video on the BBC website about the 91 cup winning team, not going to lie i got a wee bit emotional watching it. I really would love a wee trip to Hampden again next season we've been away for far too long.

Agreed. A cup run should be one the main aims for next season.

I refuse to count the 2011 final. Everything about that day was shite, from the weather to the result.

  2. One of my pals went through a mosher phase in our early years at high school. During this time he wore a leather jacket that went down to his knees. He's well past this stage of his life but has been known as "batman" ever since. Another pal has a very pointy nose and gets called "crow". Funnily enough his girlfriend also has a pointy nose. Their flat is known as the crow's nest.

A guy I went to uni with got called bawbag but this is because he was generally just a bawbag.

  3. Played a guy the other day who picked Barca (one of they c***s). Was a fairly even game, with me winning 1-0. He played a big diagonal from left back to the right hand side. I didn't really think much of it as it looked as if it was going out but Messi got to it right on the byline, hes hit it first time and its swung out then back in again and went right over my keepers head.

    Things got punched.

Aye well that's what my doctor advised me to do and my diet has totally changed. I'm just hoping for a bit of variance, I can see constantly swimming would get a bit tedious, will doing weights help with burning fat?

Probably best just sticking to swimming. There's a few body weight exercises you could do (pull ups and the like) if you really want to do weights, but swimming will be a good form of cardio that shouldn't aggravate the injury. As long as you're keeping an eye on your diet you shouldn't really have to worry about putting on weight.

  5. You'll put weight on from protein shakes, mate. Most of them have a really high calorie content.

Not really. A whey protein shake only has about 140 calories per serving. The one i'm using just now has 203 calories per serving. Its only really mass-gainers that are designed to put on weight as they have upwards of 500 calories per serving.

  6. Remember the lassie I was talking about who puts up shite posts? This morning she put up a status talking about how there are loads of creepy "starey" people about. She then proceeds to put up a photo of a guy sitting in a car (parked directly across from her) who she claims is "creepy and stairing" at her. Clearly, the irony of her status is lost on her.
