  1. If we are interested in taking back Jordan Allan on loan (which to me is a no brainer) then yesterday’s Falkirk performance will surely have increased that possibility.

They gave a bunch of squad players a run out and he was one of 5 players hooked at half time. With them signing Shanley recently too it seems Allan could be surplus to requirements.

I'm sorry but the quality of players coming in versus those who have been let go is like night and day.  You've obviously not seen these players if that is your assertion.  And a 6 point gap is hardly insurmountable - there's 19 games to go!

Yes relegation is a distinct possibility but McCall has a great eye for a player and by the end of the window he can truly say it's his team and needs the fanbase to be galvanised and 100% behind the team.

To write them off when we're only just into January, already upgraded the squad with the promise of more signings to come, is just comical!

You’re wasting your time giving this clown the time of day. Guy is a broken record.

  3. Regarding Duffy, a couple of weeks after we punted him he was on the radio giving Steve Clark tips on how to put together a squad for the Euros. You honestly couldn’t make that up. 🤣

I’ve never seen such a bunch of shite hawks cobbled together in my life as this shower Duffy served up. An utter clown of a man who should be laughed out of town every time he opens his mouth.

Not that's a tie I'm expecting us to win regardless and league survival obviously the priority but notice all 3 new signings (and Jordan Allan) are cup tied so with so many going out the door and other new arrivals potentially cup tied too it'll be interesting to see what kind of team we can field against Aberdeen.

Surely Howie can’t be cup tied if he’s just back from Australia? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Not sure what the point of the above post is, really. Having withered as a club over the past 20 years, with our only periods of relative success coming as a result of ruinous overspending/borrowing (and some periods of abject failure while going headlong into the red too!), surely it should be clear by now that any kind of material improvement to the club's current and future fortunes is nigh on impossible to enact while we remain tenants at the behest of, and generating profit for, other clubs/entities. Regardless of the costs associated with running your own stadium (a large chunk of which would be covered by grants, incidentally), stadium ownership and its associated benefits represent the primary reason why clubs of a similar core support and without sizeable external financial backing are consistently able to outspend and outperform us. We are sorely hampered in terms of attracting sponsorship and hospitality opportunities because we are an itinerant club, functioning away from its historical home and not part of a community; a look around the advertising hoardings of just about every club we come to face will show dozens of their local businesses. You'd be surprised at how quickly you can start fleshing out your hospitality and sponsorship opportunities when you are a visible force for good in your local community and producing a decent on-park product alongside that.

We played in Cumbernauld for almost 30 years and didn’t make much concerted effort to integrate into the community there so wherever we end up next could you blame them for being sceptical if we are in it for the long haul? There just isn’t a community out there waiting to embrace a mediocre SPFL club. We will need to work extremely hard over a sustained period to try and appeal to the community we land in next and over the years I have seen very little to make me believe we can achieve this.

Worse weather for us the better I would think. The whole team will be a hoot at least until we get some decent players in January, so meantime any kind of leveller is welcomed.

A postponement would do us rightly and given Dumbartons record that seems likely if rain is forecast.

Malcolm hasn’t really had a good run, but last week highlighted again that Rennie cannot play up front himself. He is far better with people around him.

Wouldn’t start Ray Grant either, too big a game when he’s not played for a year.

Where was Fraser Malcolm last week when Rennie had to come off and we ended up with Jai Stevenson and Ewan Cameron up front?

  8. I agree with the comments on Peter grant, he at least has a footballing brain, which puts him ahead of most of the rest. If he’s going to be in the team he should be captain, he was literally talking our actual captain through the game today, telling him what position to be in like a 16 year old kid. Embarrassing.

Still in genuine disbelief at Leighfield sclaffing a clearance five minutes in. Surprised McCall didn’t chuck it immediately after that.

He stood there emotionless through todays shit show, I’d have had far more respect if he ripped off his baseball cap and threw it into the turf in despair at the keeper chucking one in after 5 mins.

We've played better, but decent enough win for the Fife.

Ross Forbes is carrying Clyde, and he's only got an hour of fitba per week in him.

You must be kidding! Only Ross Lyon and the keeper were worse. I’ve seen aircraft carriers get turned quicker. It really boils my piss seeing him waddling about the park. Get him to f**k.
