Aberdeen v Celtic...Pittodrie title party?
Suspect Device replied to Flybhoy's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
19/4 is pish poor odds on us winning. 4/7 Celtic. If Sinclair is playing he must be worth backing to score. The c**t loves a goal against us. -
https://www.euroweeklynews.com/2019/03/04/contract-concerns-british-navy-supply-ships-could-be-built-in-spain/#.XMwmYXdFyUk I thought we were told that British naval ships couldn't be built outside the UK (OK we knew it was BS when they told us it)

We're on a hiding to nothing anyway. I'd have no problem gambling on youth. I would have a problem playing Stewart who is like a man down. Especially against Celtic. -

Talk of Ethan Ross getting his 3rd taste of first team football. You win nothing with kids...... -

Neither. It's ***. And to clear up the other question, I'm the the top fan. I've not missed a game at Pittodrie since I was a foetus. I might have made that last bit up. -

I'll be there to witness an absolute shit game. We will be playing for 0-0 at home. Again. Great fun. -
How did and would you vote in a second Scottish referendum?
Suspect Device replied to Kejan's topic in The Politics Forum
Yes and Yes but I'd expect this poll to be in no way representative of Scotland as a whole. This forum is very independence (and remain) biased. I'm really not sure if enough people have changed their mind from the people I speak to in my everyday life. Some have even changed from yes to no which staggers me. -
Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

And according to Lord Nimmo spending that extra money didn't give them an advantage so the same must go for the Leave campaign. Or something. -

Very strange to travel that far for a bit of thieving. Our indigenous pickpockets really need to up their game.

I read his post sarcastically so I'm not sure if he was agreeing with you. I do. I've witnessed many people who were promoted away from where they could do most damage who then somehow land the top job. Certainly not all companies I've worked in but a good few. Intelligence is not a requirement for becoming rich.

He doesn't need to. He pays folk who understand it to work out how he can best avoid it.

What little I can read of the story is that the 6 candidates are chosen. They have be ranked in order by conference. Assuming they are aiming for 3 seats, that's quite important. The bottom 3 have next to no chance of being on the eu 'gravy train' for a few weeks/months/years.

Maybe best hang fire with my complaint then. I was mid flow too. They are listed in The National so I assumed they were officially announced. Cheers.

I want to be a politician in Singapore. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/news/this-is-what-politicians-around-the-world-get-paid/ss-BBVo2LO?ocid=spartanntp#image=32 £669,323 a year. I'm a sucker for MSN clickbait.

Not really.

Is it not strange that the BBC has the EU vote candidates for Tory, Labour and Lib Dem listed on their front page for the Scottish politics but no mention of the SNP? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-47991689 Tory https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-47974501 Lib Dem https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-47983523 Labour I had to google for the SNP and funnily enough The National comes up as listing them first, then Wikipedia but nothing on the BBC. https://www.thenational.scot/news/17586679.snp-reveal-list-for-euro-elections-as-party-go-for-three-meps/

I wasn't using it as a stick to beat him with. I was pointing out a strange anomaly about football. He has a great record against better resourced teams yet still struggles against us. I'm hoping that continues today but I'm not confident at all. I agree that Clarke is a better manager and would rather have him at Aberdeen than McInnes. I'd have preferred him at Scotland instead of McLeish as well.

Sad to hear that you're losing your manager at the end of the season.* I'm not that sad. It'll be good for Scotland. -
