  1. Can't say I noticed it being that bad last night. Maybe I just got lucky where I stood.
  2. Frabbit were brilliant last night too. I always feel I get a bit unlucky with setlists. They played Fast Blood the 3 nights previous, then it's dropped for Saturday. Can't grumble too much as it was a sensational set. Scott's acoustic bit and Things were particular highlights.
  3. Not been managing many runs recently as I'm studying through December. Managed to make it down to the great run local 5k in Glasgow and maybe the rest done me well. I'm claiming an unofficial 5k pb. A bit of fumbling with the wristband scanners and not stopping watch in time cost vital seconds. Analysis on Garmin connect make it look like a 19.03, 2 second pb. Maybe less running works!!
  4. Just rewatched Sens game in LA from yesterday. A right dirty hit early on cost us on a 5 min PP. But something later in the game caught my eye, the referees recinded a penalty after about a minute of discussion. Right decision, but never seen a penalty recinded? Managed to watch the first period of the game vs anaheim there before NHL.tv remembered it should be blocked out. Just as well as we're 3-1 down and playing awful.
  5. Those Clangus cow jerseys were honking. Much like the kilted efforts last year. However, once again they've made a few headlines on sites like TSN and The Hockey News over in Canada. They lap that stuff up. Good publicity and all that, can't hurt.
  6. Small question, why did Sophie go put the flowers on Henry Reed's grave? Guilt? Did she know that Gettrick had killed him?
  7. What a guy. Ignoring the last 2 results obviously...
  8. We do love tragic catchphrases that the marketing team wheel out. Not sure what was the worst, probably Castle Clan.
  9. Cheers guys. Entering this 10k XC districts thing on Sunday in Johnstone though. Im sure the nice soft turf wont be too bad on it...
  10. Yep, had it before and physio blamed tight hamstrings. A lot of stretchig and squats cured it then so that's the plan.
  11. It's the same maws that buy weans ipads for their 2nd birthday I suppose!
  12. Is there a way to see a list of all the pages you've hidden from your feed? I must be on at least 20 breastfeeding pages hidden now. Breast feeding seems to be the new vegan, you dont have to ask if someone breast feeds, they'll tell you!!
  13. Sounds like a plan! My knee was giving me a lot of jip on the club hill session tonight. Only on the downhills, ended up enjoying the climbs more than the descents!!
  14. The boy who finished first ran sub 16 with his dog. He had done 200+ parkruns previously and had not broke 19 mins. So, eh, I should probably get a dog!!
  15. Had a wee look at your strava and it was close, we must have been neck and neck for 4 miles, but my 5th mile was awful. The fast start caught up with me! I'll probably need to work on pre race diet as I am constantly getting stitches recently. I'm not so sure about the course. Yes it's flat and has a good downhill start, but so many hairpin bends and the stretch out on the road you have to do twice can drag. But very well organised and I'll definitely be back [emoji16]
  16. I got a stitch at 1km into the Bella 10k today, couldn't shift it at all. Ended up with a heartbreaking 40.01! Well short of pb, but I'd have loved my second ever sub 40. Not to be.
  17. The whole Craig Anderson story just now is incredible. I watched the shut out vs Edmonton last night and it was brilliant. The emotions at the end with his team mates then going out to get his first star award was something else. Story even made it to the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-37767691
  18. Very jealous. My first NHL game was Senators vs Rangers a few years back, hence my support for them. That last minute goal that won you the burger was an absolute beauty as well, not often you see an empty netter get on highlight reels.
  19. It's meant to be quite stop start isn't it? I've never ran more than a half in a race. Got up to just shy of 15 miles in training, but taking it easy this week after picking up a wee ankle knock running up the hills behind Greenock yesterday.
  20. I'm doing this as well. Is it a case of get your number etc on the day? Not heard a thing from them in months.
  21. Is there a P+B strava group! If not, should there be?
  22. Just watched the Sens shutout Vancouver. Pleasing and very unexpected.
  23. Combination of the Bolts looking good and the Sens being dung. Vasilevsky is the better goalie, showed his class on Saturday. Western Canada road trip for Sens now, need to pick up some points vs these diddies.
  24. Managed to finish first at Linwood parkrun this morning. Helped by a lot of fast guys being at the national XC. Still a great feeling! Was really strange having nobody in front...
  25. Due a defeat then? Fingers crossed it's tonight. Can't see it though.
