Were they not almost bankrupt when he moved them to Livingston, sure i read that being a reason for going to Livi. Having dodgy gits continued being a theme for Meadowbank/Livingston then.
Yes I believe so but that was on the basis they were trying to be ambitious and wanted to grow.
Livi was seen as the way of doing that for some reason.
I don't see how anyone can agree with the move.

Apologies then - no insult was intended. It was a while ago and i may well be misremembering your posts.
To be fair you may not be. I found it became a bit of an echo chamber so would obtusely double down on things I wasn't necessarily that bothered about.

I note with interest that, on a day featuring Man City vs Liverpool, Match of the Day’s first game up is Luton vs Crystal Palace…
I think that's more to do with the fact it was the Sky game.

Oddly enough (and I'm not saying you're lying - why would you bother? - just remarking on the coincidence) I remember there used to be a kickbacker with the exact same username as you.
TBF, though, from memory, that one was obviously just a *** without the bus fares, rather than an actual Hearts fan.Yes that was me. I'm now banned.
Never anything but a Hearts fan though.

I wish I could say that's the first time we've shipped a goal to Aberdeen a man up. They should just start with ten every time they play us.
To be fair you play against 10 men almost every week.

Oh.
Aye St.Mirren fans are usually very well versed in the history of Dundee United.

No idea
But I was in the Wheatfield stand and while there were a few Palestinian flags down the front of the Celtic end it didn't actually look like that picture
Hopefully somebody will get publicly upset by these Palestinians flags because if they don't get a reaction of someone they'll have to start flying actual Hamas ones
I was in the Wheatfield Stand too and it was exactly like that picture..

You'd have thought attendance fc would've wanted their capacity to be more than Easter Road, even if it was just by one seat.
Would you aye?
For the moment we are more or less filling our wee stadium.
Hibs can't quite say the same.

Nice to see Nazareth and SAHB mentioned.

Last place I worked got rid of the cleaners because they were shite.
New contract allocated; new contractor hired the same cleaners because they had experience working in that specific work place.
Unsurprisingly, they were still shite but the contract was for 2 years.
They might have been obliged to take them on.

The below is pretty much where I’m at, obviously before the game you had the “what if?” Excitement, but in reality anyone that expected anything different is on cloud cuckoo land.
Was our defending utterly crap? Yes, did Youan, our star player have the worst game of his Hibs career? Yes.The two points really didn’t help us but even if we were at our best it would have probably been a similar scoreline.
The reasons for this aren’t because of Lee Johnson and I’m not exactly his number 1 fan, they aren’t because of a “Hibsing,” it’s because of Sky Sports, the financial doping and the competitiveness being taken away from football.
Some dreadful takes in this thread however none are worse than this one:
A fan of *checks profile* St Johnstone.
If the thought of a trip down to Birmingham with all your mates with probably another 5k+ of your fellow supporters to be spent in the pubs is to be pitied then you’re following the wrong sport.
I suppose as a St Johnstone fan you’ve never had the opportunity to have such an experience so that may be a factor.
Hopefully Villa play the kids and we can at least get a goal or something to celebrate to give us our moment.
All in all it’s been a brilliant experience this season being in Europe, 6 matches, 2 more than expected and beating a team we were expected to lose to based on seedings and bookies odds.
See you again next season @EuropaConferenceLeague.
He might have got a European trip after beating Hibs in the SC Final.
(CBA checking if we were still on lockdown then,)

The Hibs half time team talk worked a treat then.
Did you not hear- they started the second half well?
2 minutes worth if your lucky.
I'd hate to see a slow start (well not really).

I think you will find a lot of Jags fans were not surprised at that display! We are going down faster than a porn actress!!
That's a shame.
I was saying at the game I couldn't believe this was a team a bawhair away from the Premiership last year.

Best thing was seeing that horrible flag getting thrown to f**k.
A mere training exercise for Hearts.
I noticed the flag disappeared.
What happened?

Atrocious display from Thistle and some mindboggling tactics by Doolan to have 9 men behind the ball from kick off in a knock out cup tie! Looked like we were playing for penalties from the start. The feelgood factor that the manager has is slowly but surely evaporating! This is going to be a long, long season!!
I was surprised how poor Thistle were.
It's a long time since we've had an easier game than that.

I see that Baroness D has been put on the SRU board.
If she doesn't believe that Scotland should be a country she has no place on any distinctly Scottish national sporting body. She'll be too busy trying to obliterate the Scottish and Welsh Rugby Unions and rename us "England".
Well, why not? The "England and Wales" Cricket Board's abbreviation is "ECB", its logo is three lions and the team is universally called "England". The "and Wales" doesn't get a look in.

Guns n roses on Friday at Hyde Park. If anything it was better than Tuesday night.
Then Iggy Pop at Crystal Palace yesterday.

Agreed. We should have changed the rules on votes when Rangers went down the leagues but self interest fucked it
As it always will.
Romanov at Hearts voiced opinions that you'd think would chime with supporters of other clubs on subjects like the SFA, media and referees.
What was the reaction?

The young generation do seem to be keen. Things like the Red Shed at Pittodrie, the Well Bois, the St Johnstone lot, are at least trying to create a bit of atmosphere but I don't think they are trying to affect change, it's more a case of belonging to something as a collective.
That's always been the case to some extent though.
I loved going to Hearts games in the 70s and early 80s as a kid and teenager.
It wasn’t the scintillating football.
These youngsters are just doing the same.
Personally they bug the hell out of me but I'm not supposed to like it.

What do you think accounts for the rise in attendances in Hearts, Hibs and Aberdeen in that time?
Hearts gained a lot of regular fans, as opposed to walk ups in the Romanov years and that never fully dropped off.
2012 helped and the admin year produced a stick together attitude, then helped by our form in the Championship.
I think Hibs' support was galvanised by the 2016 cup win.
Aberdeen I have no idea.
