Somebody may wish to inform the Daily Heil that there's no such thing as barristers in Scotland. We have Advocates.
This guy being a Gers fan does sound like a Dick Advocate right enough.
He wasn't an advocate either.

Right, so we're currently told to believe that the title race is enthralling, that 9 or 10 in a row, or quadruple trebles are worthy targets and achievements, when the clubs' turnovers are many, many times greater than those of all but one rival.
Somehow, these things are worthy, when all they do is roll over those tiny by comparison.
And yet, you've decided that in a new set up, the first among relative equals to emerge, would not be worthy?
Jeez, that is quite some media brainwashing that you've allowed.
See all this talk about the Old Firm hoovering up trophies?
This is the Rangers that haven't won a domestic cup in their current guise aye?

True though.
I normally don't make a point of calling out inbred fuckwits and believe in live and let live.
When they start taking the moral high ground on spurious nonsense it gets difficult.

Shut up ya daft c**t and dry your pampers, no matter how many times you dribble this same pish on the keyboard it wont make it any more true.
And you can deny it all you like. It's a fact and your manager more or less admitted as such
After yesterday I hope to never hear your inbred fuckwits of a support trying to claim any kind of moral high ground or bang on about "Hibs class ".
It's clear what that is.

Standard John Beaton, not particularly surprising from the masonic c**t.
That masonic c**t kept you in the game.

He was the reason Hibs were on top for 70 minutes of the game?
No because you weren't.

Get him out.
They like this style if football and the results it brings?
No accounting for taste but I suppose that's why they're Hibs fans.

No, it's far worse considering no players got attacked in the final and there wouldn't have been trouble if once again the stickies could take losing a game of football.
Right then. The thousands on the pitch, some taunting them, had nothing to do with it.

Where's the condemnation from Andy the outraged w**k Walker like it was in our Scottish Cup win?
Aye that's the same right enough.
Anyway he did condemn it.

Eventually tracked this thread down!
So the band had been teasing something on social media for a while and it was thag they are returning to full time status as a band with a world tour and a new album on the way. Happy fucking days. Still my favourite band.
Bought tickets for the O2 Academy in Edinburgh on the 20th August. Shame it's not a more central location in the city but will still be good to see them for the fifth time!Swithering about this.
I love their albums but they're not a great live band in my experience.

I think there's lots of players that do similar to waste time. Your goalie is the master of it.
Not at the same time every game they don't.

I see Porteous is still getting away with his fake injury towards the end of games.
You have to wonder how thick our referees are.

Are you suggesting that a journalist working on Scottish football shouldn't call out a prominent Scottish football club for crass behaviour?
Exactly. The worse or more crass the behaviour the less need there is to mention it.
Wait for his complete condemnation the next time Rangers are criticised.

That makes sense thanks. As much as any of this does anyway.

It's England who changed their system to match Scotland's, but are calling it day 5 rather than 7 to make it sound better when it's actually identical.
I might be missing something but if England start on day zero and you get out on day 5 that's 6 in total.
Scotland start on day 1 and you're out on day 7, that's 7 days.

Tbf NS said last week she'd announce they'd be lifted tomorrow. I still don't fully understand what she possibly thought was going to happen in the last 7 days that was going to prevent this happening (and therefore, by extension, have no idea why she decided to chuck an extra week of restrictions in).
The data could not be anymore positive - even the best media spin artists would struggle to make it look bad.
We are about to witness a couple of months of NS & the SG being forced, kicking and screaming, to acknowledge that Covid in 2022 is utterly shan, whilst trying their hardest to deflect from how utterly pointless their remaining protections are, until they finally cave and remove the lot, masks included.
Leitch will pop up from time to time to say something ridiculous, the BST will claim we were only able to remove all the protections because we remained cautious till the bitter end, and Devi will make a late appearance to plug her book a final time.
What happened in the last 7 days is it allows her to say she's being cautious and following the science.
In other words the same old bollocks to show it couldn't possibly have been that she was wrong.

That's not really a surprise since your username is made up of two players that played over 1000 matches for Oldco.
We've seen a similar type of article from this rag, and others like it, nearly every time we've hosted a team from Govan for at least the last 25-30 years. As @Ricmentions, it's directed at a Sevco audience. A national newspaper is reviewing a Scottish League fixture like it's the good guys going to some Mafia-riddled backwater in the North Caucasus (no offence meant to the North Caucasus region just an example of how the Scottish (and indeed, British) football media has a tendency to portray 'foreign').
Besides, although Albertz admits in the article that his information is coming from biased source ("the Scottish boys") and admits that he "doesn't know if the rivalry was as bad before the tackle" ("the Scottish boys" have obviously provided him a one-sided perspective), the reader is invited to accept THAT (another irritation where they always describe it as thus) tackle was pretty much the foundation of the "hatred".
Where's the balance? If it was a Gruesome Twosome match we'd get POV from both sides.
So are you saying they never interview Aberdeen players?
As I say in itself the article is fine and Albertz is quite complimentary about Aberdeen and Scottish football in general.

Imagine a world where the cause of WWII in Europe was generally accepted to be Britain's aggression against Germany. And every time Britain was in the papers Germany cried about Britain invading. That's the the Scottish papers on Rangers v Aberdeen.
It really isn't.
Are you suggesting that tackle isn't a factor?
