  1. I certainly am missing your point, you agree with me that he`s unlikely to answer any searching questions yet you`re urging people with concerns to ask searching questions?? Regarding BPM, I think he was puzzled that all fans want to do is blow smoke up his backside.
  2. I think mic_17_uk gave you the answer to that, he`s very unlikely to answer anything but the blandest of questions or just deny everything, "wasn`t me a big boy done it and ran away"
  3. Thanks BPM, let`s hope sanity prevails and it never comes to that !!
  4. Genuine question as I`m not an expert in this. Don`t shareholders (regardless of amount held) get a chance to study the offer that any prospective bidder makes? Why is it just major shareholders?
  5. I thought that, I spoke to him at full time yesterday and asked if it was his name mentioned on the prize list but he didn`t know, he hadn`t heard it. Pleasant surprise to get.
  6. The answer to that is yes he is and there`s a new volume in the making bringing us up to last season I believe. Don`t know the availability of previous volumes, maybe Michael will have spare copies he`s willing to sell.
  7. I`m shocked it`s not listed in your extensive "Book of Stats on all thing FFC" !!!!
  8. There was a 2-0 victory at Broomfield in 83 but the scorers are down as Forrest and Houston. ?? Jobson wasn`t playing.
  9. I would have blamed the square sausage for the gut feeling but not if it`s Patrick`s
  10. Aye maybe, but I think he was Airdrie manager for a while, never got transferred to Falkirk for £60,000
  11. Maybe, I don't recall that. Did we pay a fee for him? I know he was highly sought after at the time. £60,000 rings a bell.
  12. Agreed, could never be classed in the "legend" category but certainly was a decent player. I think when he looks back on his career, he`ll see that his time at Falkirk was probably the most successful period of it with good memories. Having been a player here he will also know the considerable potential at the Club in terms of support & capacity to grow.
  13. Oh dear, if it`s not the "Auld boy" it`s the "fat boy"... you really must freshen up the patter Mr B I haven`t been anywhere near the pressroom at half-time for some months as you well know. Anyway, the chances of getting there before you are onto your second pie are nil!!!
  14. Haha, it`s more of a dilemma when you`re sitting out in it...you`re getting wet either way, outside in or inside out...today, probably both.
  15. Thought you and Lex were best buds?? Or are you brushing up on your Spanish now for a certain Mexican lady?
  16. Why is John Park "waiting to see if Campbell`s got the money" ? I thought they`ve been a "team" for a few months at least. Wasn`t he involved with Campbell in the Sunderland deal which would have required a shedload more cash than this takeover will, why the doubts now???
  17. Not getting carried away in the slightest. had my fears long before now as have others on here. ETA Nothing to do with the finances, this is a new revelation to me (if true)
  18. I`ve had my fears about this bid for some time mainly due to personnel associated with it but this adds a whole new dimension. However, I`m sure we can trust our current Board to do a sturdy "Due Diligence" on the bid
  19. "John Park, one of Scotland’s most respected football talent spotters, will become the Club’s Football Director. He will have funds to boost the current playing squad, if the negotiations can be concluded before the summer signing deadline." What happened to the shortfall being made up by the current Board until the new one is in place?? Also notice there is no mention of who will feature on Mark Campbell`s BOD. Hopefully these questions will be clarified with further statements.
  20. If you`re right, I really don`t see how they hope to take the Club forward. Among the many things that became apparent to all at the EGM was that we desperately need new blood & a forward thinking Board and that the fans will not abide the status quo.
  21. Totally agree with that, I have the same worries. Given the heated exchanges between Board/MSG and members of BTB group at the EGM, my fear is that there may well be a backlash from it that endangers the success of their bid. Hope I`m wrong.
