  1. Nicholson has done something to wind up Lewis and Taylor (Lewis especially) despite the fact they won. Top lad.
  2. Big companies like Hills will pay out on stuff like that sometimes. Diddy wankers like McBookie will tell you to f**k off.
  3. Santander couldn't even beat a Segunda B team tonight in the cup, at home, when trailing 2-0 from the first leg. Wouldn't normally do a coupon like this but it was a £20 free bet so I thought I'd go for the jackpot. 5 out of 6 teams.
  4. Essentially they are taking the piss, yes. They're happy to TAKE your money without checking, but if you win, they want you to prove it. It's not just PP, that's how a lot of them operate. You're of age though, right? Just take a picture of a driving license or passport and email it to them. Not a great deal of effort... unless you don't have either.
  5. You don't need to roll it over, I know that much. Think you can withdraw immediately, but I actually can't remember.
  6. Wanted Part to win, but that was brilliant.
  7. Maybe something to do with the commissions from the exchanges not being factored in. I'm not 100% sure on that though.
  8. Kasabian as the walk-on song for both.
  9. Just saw the last 6 darts of this. Wish I'd seen the rest.
  10. Your money only gets matched once. As soon as someone has matched your bet, that's it. Betfair wouldn't let you be liable for more than you have in your account. And yes, those are the projected profit and loss taking into account the previous bet, and are a total for the match.
  11. Of all the gambling sites I'm registered with, probably about a third of them asked me to email a picture of a passport or driving license before being allowed to bet. Betfair wasn't one of them. At least back then. I've been on Betfair for a couple of years now, so I'm not sure what their policies on that are.
  12. Is there any indication of what the 2012 PL lineup is going to be yet?
  13. Enter Sandman I want Jones to win now just for the walk-on.
  14. Yeah, I pretty much was doing that. For these leagues I was using roughly 88-112 margins (quite a bit wider than the ones I was using for the PL or Championship), which I thought would cover the lack of knowledge of the markets and the fact that I was using static odds that weren't my own. I did consider using a bot as well because of this, but just never got round to that. The match odds were never unmanaged, I wasn't that stupid. But fair point on the draws being overpriced. The thing that made me question it is, whilst I had a feeling letting the odds go in-play wasn't a good idea, two of the three weeks I actually did this were probably my two best weeks, with profits of something like 12%. Luck, I guess.
  15. The way I was going about it was pricing up the Premiership and Championship on my own thoughts and stats, and then for L1 and L2 pretty much going close to what the bookies odds were seeing as I wouldn't trust myself to know enough about those divisions to use my own probabilities. Bad idea? Another thing I meant to ask whilst I was doing it actually, but never got round to it, was in your system do you use inplay or not? For example, if I was trying to get Wolves matched at 2.3 tonight and they started the game at 2.1, would you stick that unmatched bet back up after kickoff, and wait for them to get matched after the first 20 minutes or however long it would take for their odds to hit 2.3 (assuming the game remained goalless) or would that be unwise? Because I tried both options and didn't seem to notice much difference either way, but seeing as you know more about the positives and negatives of all this, maybe you could explain if either one of those is the wrong way to go about it.
  16. This is great, in a painful way.
