Nadal was 11/8 before play last night. He might have bet him then. I thought that was poor value for a guy down 2 sets, even with a break mind you.

Nadal is reputedly the nicest guy on tour. No one has a bad word to say about him and there are many stories about how good a guy he is. I have no idea if Murray is popular with the other players or not. What's conceited about Federer? His jackets are just a nod to tradition. He is like Rafe from The Apprentice - just class.

I really doubt that has anything to do with his personality. That's just the way he is, in the same way Colin Montgomerie is just the way he is. Terrific preformance over the weekend from Murray. Still hope Roger horses him though.

I believe this is the clown who said it isn't difficult to become a millionaire. You just need £10 and a few even money shots to come in. I wish I'd known he was on Del Potro and I might have changed my mind. It's like seeing the Racing Post's tennis tipster on the same matches as you - you know you are beaten before you start.

It's dreadful. Which is quite a good thing, as it will be fairly easy to improve considerably. He hardly won a free point on his serve, which given how close the points won for each of them was, made a huge difference in the match. I think he will be delighted with his progress so far this summer. We will see how much he has come on in a year's time.

I thought it was just quite attritional. DP hit 4,5,6 heavy forehands deep which Murray dug back, knowing no one can keep doing that consistently, except maybe Nadal. And so it proved. Murray is a terrific match player. So clever. Reads the game much better than the likes of Del Potro. Time and again he did him with the backhand down the line out of the blue.

Yeah, just not my cup of tea, though I like to watch him play. The modern day Lleyton Hewitt, who I couldn't stand either. Hope Nadal marmelises him in the semi final.

To be honest, there are plenty of people in Scotland who don't like him either.

Ah well. Murray played the big points better, and had more variety. Del Potro needs to get a first serve for Christmas and an Iron Man training regime. Looked knackered after the first set. Great forehand though. He's going to be a hell of a player in a years time.

Dunno about that, I saw him annihilate Haas the other weekend. Hit him off the court. Admittedly Haas is in neither man's class. I think it's a really tough one to call. On the others, I thought Roddick was sensational last night. Best I've seen him play.

Yes, it is far from a certainty. I think about 8/11 Murray and Evs Del Potro would be the way I'd price it up. Murray is deservedly favourite, but not by this margin for me!

Yep. Argentinian, very tall, very big hitter. Won 24 matches in a row I think, and won his last 4 tournaments. I think he will hit Murray off court to be honest. We shall see though!
