I might have started on the paint thinner a bit early, but is there no chance Pawlett improves after a 3 month break and a pre-season to get him fit and free from injury?

There will be an outcome as it is arbitration as opposed to mediation. As someone else has said, there is only limited circumstances in which an outcome from arbitration can be challenged.
