Brown shoes, I've got a pair, well I had a pair, so they will be on the list. I being of good stock & healthy mind would only wear them with a pair of brown trewsers. But f**k me any ol c**t who thinks they are owt special is wearing them but with any colour of trews BUT broon. I'm a peaceful man but upto 90 every time I see broon on black/blue/red/green/yellae. On Friday just gone I filled my car up to the gills with the diesel at £1.18 & 9/10ths to the litre. This morning I drove past Morrisons & they are flogging the stuff four pence a litre cheaper. I reckon that's £2 extra I paid that could have gone to good causes. Grimbo

I really fancied going a walk up Arthur's Seat (& back down too) but all through my lunch break I was trying to remember when was the last time I got a stone in my shoe & you know what I just couldn't think when it was, it was that long ago. The odds were stacked against me & I just couldn't risk it. Thankfully the rain dissipated my disappointment. Grimbo

Oh no the cardy factions of buttons opposed to the zipper.If I were a cardy wearer (obviously I am not but do have a friend in this category of humans). I like to appear as a traditionalist in most aspects of my life, therefore I conclude I would be in the buttons brigade. I doubt there's been many A&E admittances from button cardy related incidents but I imagine quite a few via the zipper variation. I s'pose it comes down to living dangerously? Grimbo
