Agree with above apart from I'd say perhaps about 20 seconds is more realistic.
Now having seen Turner in last few games seems a very strange decision by Dunfermline to let him go out on loan.
Just watched back the open goal miss from Gallagher and it was just as unbelievable on second viewing.
Turner was rated at Dunfermline by fans and management. He has refused a new contract as it's believed he has offers on the table from Premiership clubs. Hearts and St Johnstone are rumoured to be potential suitors.

Predictable scoreline and performance , team lacks character .
Note.... I thought Max Currie had his best day as a diamond kept us in it early in second half, another player with a lot of hype who has been pretty average since we signed him.
This will please a few on here Jack MacKay was probably our best p!ayer today bags of energy and seemed interested could be a good signing...
It's all about opinions of course but I thought Mackay was embarrassingly bad.

I think the shouts are mainly as an assistant manager to help out Murray, but I was thinking the same thing - a 38 year old defensive midfielder who's completed 90 minutes once in the last year. Good grief.
Agree what a strange shout!

Totally agree, how many players do we even have on the books? I have no idea what it is exactly they are directing that the manager couldn't do. We aren't some top level side with 100 signed professionals on multi-year contracts where the head coach gets sacked every 6-12 months. We are a small club with a small group of players on yearly contracts. It probably sounds like a dinosaur attitude but at this level surely you employ the best manager and he signs the guys he wants for the year to play in his style. If they are hopeless then you release the players and/or the manager. To me a position like director of football at this level is putting the cart before the horse, it's playing at being a big club while we kick about in League One. Every penny we have should be put into attracting the best players we can get, if we get promoted and need to expand our reserve and youth setup etc then start looking at directors of football to try and grow the club, I just don't think it is necessary at this point - whatever salary he was on would be far better used getting a proper assistant for Murray and some better players.
Don't really disagree but everything is relative. Stuart Millar was a part time, lowly paid DOF.

Kyle MacDonald on the bench for Dunfermline today. Perhaps the league suspension has scuppered the loan back deal.

Is there anyone on here think's the manager should stay????
Me, because of this short uncertain season. Only promotion can save him though!

Probably a little ahead of Edwards in his development, Kyle is a modern attacking fullback who is far better going forward than actually defending, Hard working, no real pace or final ball, although we don't tend to flood the 18 yard box.....
A little bit surprised he is away, there are better full backs in league 1 than him..
I would question that he is ahead of Edwards in his development as Edwards is younger than MacDonald.

Wedderburn divided opinion among our fans last season but I was always a fan of him as long as he was used right (i.e. other more energetic players need to make up for his lack of pace). He's a classy player that's very tidy on the ball and passes the ball very well.
Big Nat is what he is, an excellent footballer but his lack of pace gets exposed at times.

Got to admit i was disappointed with the starting eleven with 9 players from last season starting the game. New signings need to get in first eleven or they are pretty pointless.
Yes i know it's early and things will change but they have to as the league is definitely stronger this year.

Happy to have another striker signed up. He sounds like he'll complement Gallagher and Roy quite well and we definitely needed another option there.
Early days but I'm quite happy with how the squad is looking overall. There seems to be decent options for most positions and good cover everywhere.
Seems he is 6 footer so hopefully can provide an aerial threat.

I quite liked the look of Thomson as well had just started his first few games after injury before lockdown after previously getting a few sub appearances. Remember his injury clearly and it looked a bad one so suspect we are yet to really see the best of him. But with o’reilly Robert carrick and Thomson we have plenty of options in the wide areas.
On a side note just saw thistle have signed kouider - Aissa on loan from livi exactly what we need in the squad - guaranteed goals imo.Thomson is probably the quickest player we have and looked a real find in the league cup last season. As mentioned, badly hit with injury last year so hopefully a good pre season and he shines this year.

Think you can scrub the go fund option from the trust as the club has made it very clear they don't want nothing from this avenue. Sad really.

The pen given was one of them clumsy incidents and without a slo mo you couldn't be certain. The earlier one on Calum Smith was an absolute stonewaller.

Stranraer manager would be correct, never a pen and the ref should pursue another career path in my view.

On review, i think his bellend is in the box, so penalty in my book!

first contacts outside the box
Sending-off offences
denying a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent whose overall movement is towards the offender’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick (unless as outlined below)
Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offender is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off.
its a freekick outside box and can only be punished with a yellow card. The ref gave he penalty from 40 yards away the linesman gives nothin (from 15 yards away) doesnt raise this flag doesnt move to the corner flag until the ref reaches the penalty spot BUT there is not goalscoring oppertunity as the all goes straight to the keeper.
VAR required!

Looking at the highlights the contact was minimal but Dillon's headed back pass was way short. If deemed a pen then Dillon had to go.

No one wants that scenario. We do want them to stop all their bollocks.
What bollocks are you referring to?

Well said. They are not welcome any longer.
That's what disappointing, we ae far too small to be alienating any section of the support and especially a part that has been a major sponsor (if not the biggest) over the last 10 years. Pity a compromise couldn't be reached.

There is some pish being spouted on here with agendas. There might be differing opinions about the running of the club but i'm struggling to comprehend that anyone wants the club to fail!

I thought Mochrie was outstanding when he came on and even more so when i realised he's only 18. Looks a real star.
