I have gone optimistic and predicted an Airdrie win, but the presence of Connell and Wallace does give me some worries. I also expect Millar and Watt , if they play, to want to pose a challenge. We are quite creative now but there will need to be some real grit as well. In the cliche we are now there to be shot at, so i hope Max is alert to any long hoofballs. Ticket purchased today from a very smooth system.

Quite honestly Millar and Watt would be nowhere near getting in our midfield ahead of Easton, Frizzell, McGill,  McInroy or McCabe but of course this is Scottish League 1 where nothing is guaranteed.

Would actually be good to know this. Unluckily, none of his professional representation post on Pie and Bovril apparently according to their official company twitter...

In all seriousness the club need to address his ongoing absence. I genuinely feel for him, but we need to know if a. the club have held him back from playing (which would be a very bad look for them given the circumstances). Or b. Rico is refusing to play (which puts everyone in an awkward spot).

Absolutely, although option b is a simple one.

I would guess that he's probably on the sick list.

According to Murray on his post match interview Gabby McGill was taken to hospital with a suspected concussion after his head knock in the first few minutes of the game,  if that's the case I think the concussion protocol means you are out for 10 days, also mentions Salim picked up a knee injury that didn't look great.   He seemed lively enough  with his last gasp header,   we need to avoid injuries although our squad is deeper than recent years, I think our rivals have more strength in dep t h.

Any further update on Gabby and Sal

Aye that's disappointing just as they were getting back to fitness as well.

I was speaking to Queen's Park and they were bemoaning their price too. Lee-Ann Dempster is in the same thought as our chairman that they don't want it to compete with the physical attendance at the gate. They compromised at £15 for the stream. Ours is the gate price.

BUT if you're an Alloa season ticket holder you can watch for free or ( my latest offering) if you watch outside the UK and Ireland you can buy a package for the away games at £6 a game - AND you get a discount of £6 for home PPV making it £12 per game.

I understand the point for home fans but don't get the business model for away fans. Away supports are dwindling badly these days so streams are the only possible the home club will get any revenue.

I've never seen any figures released from clubs regarding stream figures but it would be interesting.

On a personal note streams are excellent for fans who live 170 miles away from the team they support, like me.

Versatility indeed - I'm really disappointed @KierenAAFC didn't ask him if this was the time to start robbing banks with every policeman in the country tied up over there.

The one thing that I will improve - is moving the camera so its next to the pixellot mounted thing and that'll eliminate the shake from me being on a rickety gantry. I'll do it before winter kicks in as I'd quite like to take over the 'control room' in the press box - heat for 90 minutes 🤤

I think the criticism is linked to the £18 cost as we get slated at £15. I hope you get a percentage!

It was a clear foul, just as Geggans on Currie was a clear foul. Both "victims" of these challenges did all they could to gain their team an advantage though.

Think the man from the moon is telling porkies. No shame we're all a tad biased and irrational when when it come to your own team.

It's also hilarious that Airdrie fans are going "LOOK AT HOW RAGIN THEY URR!" when they've spent months sticking pins into Ross McLean voodoo dolls and wishing all kinds of bad karma goes his way for *checks notes" doing exactly what Max Currie did to Andy Geggan at the weekend.

You've changed your tune! Did you not previously say that it was a clear foul by Wardrop on McLean? Think you did mate.

So there's folk on here obviously think Rico is "at it" or made it up or whatever.

Why would he do that ? Honest answers , folk haven't believed him from that start , so why would he lie ? Or someone lie about thier own fans?

And if there's folk on here that are angry that he's still upset by what he feels is the lack of a proper investigation ( im not saying it was proper or not) then why is he a "rat" for that ? Why you all so angry that he's unhappy ? It's a weird mentality! The club might feel vindicated but he doesn't,  so why is that vitriol worthy?

To clarify, Rico did not hear anything. A father of a team mate approached the alleged abuser and obviously this was relayed to Rico.

I think it’s OK if you don’t want to be front and centre as the owner - but then you need someone to make that connection for you. I always thought that was part of Stuart Millar’s job, to be that link. Since he left, it’s all stopped/broken down. The communication is terrible. This week’s statement a car crash IMO. Makes me wonder who is advising him…

    Methinks himself.

Agree the statement is a little long winded, how about short and sharp..

    CASE NOT PROVEN,     NEXT.......

There is an element in our support who appear to be 'Anti Establishment ' at all costs, interesting to hear the reasons why.....

As for Ricos brother, nice of him to get involved  a fine upstanding individual,  that right Jai....

I wasn't there and by all accounts there was a small away support which should have made it quite easy to identify the culprit. It's a strange one!

PH has paid his money and runs the club and is obviously a successful businessman but as you hint I do have a bit of gripe although I don't think he has done much wrong on the football side. Someone listed some points on Facebook concerned about the trust, fans liason officer, junior diamonds, Club 1924 and several which are all pretty valid. My main concern is that PH appears to be extremely secretive, private, call it what you like but his general lack of engagement, makes me very suspicious of him and very strange for a hands on owner.

I really would like to see an interview on DTV with him where he could outline his vision for the club and engage a bit more with the fan

With that in mind aptly named diamond formation could be the way forward.

                    Currie

    Watson Kerr Fordyce Quitongo

                  McCabe

       Frizzell             McInroy

                    Easton

           Smith Gallagher

Could make an argument for McInroy playing the deeper role with McCabe pushed up a bit more but I thought McInroy seemed to have plenty of energy and looked good going forward yesterday and McCabe has definitely looked better in the deeper midfield role than he did on the right of the midfield three when Agnew was playing there. We'd still have two McGills and Salim fighting for a place in that lineup as well.

It will be an interesting selection at Falkirk with probably everyone available except Luke Lyons. If we can win there it would really fire up our season.
