There are two things going on here. The case against PH personally and the case against the club from my understanding. I was just referring to his personal role in those incidents. And for it’s worth I did and do speak out on behaviour of this kind and have been subject to targeted abuse as a result.

What is the club though? Is it the entire staff? Does it include the fans? (Tommy Robinson paying into a game can't possibly be attributed to the Club, directors or staff)

Is this heading down the strict liability route?

The Falkirk daft podcast made for interesting/twilight zone listening. Personally I’m thankful for the 3rd and 4th they decided to give us. Otherwise it would only have been 2-0.

And the 1st goal was a lucky deflection, no mention of the move and Frizzels worldie defence splitting pass.

And our new pitch is shiite!

This is surely something for the Supporters Trust to sort, that used to be their main remit back in the day,  come to think of it the Supporters Trust still on the go....

That was never the main remit although they did put on occassional free bus/buses for the Airdrie aces. (kids) The trust morphed into Diamonds in the Community and a new trust was formed by the club amid quite a bit of nastiness of which i would not know the detals of.

Slightly off topic but it's sad to see the guy who runs the bus/buses to away games having such a struggle these days which just happens to coincide with us being well worth the travel most weeks. I've personally never been on the supporters bus due to being fortunate enough to be able to make my own way to games but his work is commendable. Over the past few weeks I've been wondering if there is any scope for the club to help in this regard. It's got to be beneficial for the team and the club in general to have as many away fans as possible, it could be the difference. They could also make a bit of money out of helping out with travel. There's a few ways they could spin it if it's something that can be explored.

They could go down the route of just putting a bus on at whatever cost or they could start a travel club, I'm sure there are other teams out there that do this, whether it be a monthly payment which could either include travel only or travel and a ticket to the game. I know in these times it's difficult for all financially and asking g for another payment might be a stretch too far but the hard-core that go to 80-100% of away games are paying anyway.

I also appreciate that this idea cut be seen as cutting the grass of the guy who's currently doing a great job of running the buses despite the current struggles and obviously opens cue here before and after where most will go in and spend a few quid before and after the game but the club could also liaise with cue here and possibly come up with a solution to have the bus leave from cue here or even do a pick up from there.  Maybe it's pie in the sky and all a bit too complicated but it's something I'd hope the club could help out and allow the team to have the best backing possible.

Speaking from experience it's a hard task but you would think that a club director who owns a bus company would be sympathetic, seems not!

Nervous about today. Even last season when Falkirk were in disarray, there was always the worry that they'd get their shit together just at the right time to play us. And now I so think they've got their shit together, far more than in recent seasons. So nothing taken for granted at all. They'll feel they owe us one and have started well enough to come into this game with confidence.

Still feel we are short of a good few players too which is not ideal but it is what it is. Still feel we have a strong enough team to get a good result, but it'll be a tough and tight affair.

Hopefully we've no surprise injuries as a Fordyce, Frizzell, Smith, McCabe missing would be catastrophic to our chances given our light squad. Josh Rae doesn't look likely to return going by the match preview so i assume the young loanee will be in goal again today where i'm sure he will be busier than his "comfortable" debut last week.

Interesting to see how our newbies get on today against a much more experienced Falkirk side. Cammy Ballantyne apart, the others still have it all to prove.

I struggled to work out what formation we were playing at times yesterday. Our movement was excellent. First half was like a game of attack vs defence.

As Chapelhall Chap said, we probably line up 4-1-3-2 but when we were dominant like yesterday, Ballantyne & Deveney push high up & McCabe drops and it becomes virtually 3-5-2. Well that's how it looked to me.

  7. There wasn't much to take from the game as Peterhead were so bad and unless they get better players in quickly they're finishing tailed off bottom.

Ballantyne was undoubtedly the best of our newbies, powerful player.

Wylie, obviously talented but struggled with the pace of the game and will need time find his feet and fitness. Seemed to pick up an injury as well.

Devenny is ok, not sure he is going to be fixture every week but there's lots of improvement in him.

Deveney is very rash and got a mouthful of Rhys in the second half for just that.

Hopefully Rae's injury isn't too bad and he's back for next week where we'll learn a lot more and would it be great to go 5 points ahead of Falikirk after 2 games.

What should be the starting 11 for tomorrow then? for me -

    Rae (if fit)

    Ballantyne Watson Dycey Deveany

    Frizz McCabe Devenny

    Jamieson Gal Smith

                               Rae

              Watson McCabe Dycey

    Ballantyne Frizz Wylie Devenny Smith

                     Jamieson Gabby

This for me although i expect Gal will play. Deveney doesn't look up to it hence why i would tweak the system.

There are no Covid restrictions any longer, the concession on streaming Saturday live football from August to May has been retracted. It was allowed for the League Cup by concession from Premier Sports and because the 3pm Saturday ban doesn't apply to July. It's not permitted (domestically anyway for the benefit of @Diamond8) for the League.

Well yes, but it always was. You can have all the VPN's you like. They won't get you a stream if nobody actually produces a stream in the first place. I can't imagine many lower division clubs are going to run a streaming production for a handful of genuine overseas customers and a few guys cheating the system.

Falkirk & Dunfermline games will be available through a VPN or IPTV. QOS?

Without knowing too much about McMaster or Wylie it seems like a decent bunch of options there. They certainly all seem suited to the style we want to play.

It seems like Wylie got the most assists and yellow cards for Celtic B last season. It’s a completely different challenge doing it in League One but hopefully that means that he’s good on the ball but can also get stuck in, a bit like Frizzell. If he’s half as good as the last left footed midfielder we got from Celtic then we’re onto a winner.

Looks like McCabe may well be playing centre back with his cuz again this season as we now have Frizzell, Wylie, Devenny & McMaster all vying for the midfield positions and possibly Telfer.

My only concern would be that we have a lot of players with potential but unproven at this level, Devenny, Deveney, McMaster, Wylie and to a lesser extent Jamieson. Hopefully two or three of them are good enough to be regular starters, Wylie & Jamieson look to have the best chance to me.

Wylie contracted until summer 2024 at Celtic so they obviously see a player there.
