I don't think it would be just floodlights M8. Newlandsfield is a majestic old ground and would need an expensive make over to bring it up to standard. Shame really that a club like Pollok will have to spend thousands to get their ground up to standard while clubs in rented, council backed cages can walk into the Scottish Cup.

I hate bitter knuts who greet that the referee was against them, he was pish for both sides. But take a wee breather to jog your memory, you were in front thanks to an awful goalkeeping blunder and a penalty. Jordon Longmuir made two worldy saves during that time. If you think about it Andy Leishman never made a save of any note throughout the game. You got three men sent off, we got two penalties given against us. Absolutely brilliant afternoons football, great venue, big crowd, six goals, a great advertisement for the division.

Frustrating game at Carluke today, hit the post four times, one cleared off the line, one chalked off and four top class saves by the keeper. The Rovers goal was a peach and worth the admission money itself. I thought the home side battled hard, had a right go near the end when we had a calamity in defence. Chicken curry pies were top notch, and well done Rovers for only charging a fiver. You slipped up not having a half time raffle though.

Listening to the podcast I'm interested in the SFA still not signing off the OF ruling and the fact that relegated sides from League Two and the LL could contest their relegations. My team currently sit top of the WOSL but say they won the play off to join the LL would they be excepted if the bottom LL club wins their case to stay in the LL.

I thought the LL was rather well run except for the relegation/promotion from tier 6. Reading some of the posts about the OF Colts sides this seems to have caused a lot of friction with the LL fans.

I watched an interesting debate on the LL forum which has rattled me a bit. I could wade through the countless threads on that forum but I think a few questions needing answered would maybe put me on a better steading. 1: Has the main man I think is called George Fraser resigned? 2: The SFA have still to sign off a ruling that if the OF Colts win the league the highest placed LL club would go onto the play-off. 3: If this is true then the team bottom of the SL2 and the LL could go to court and have their relegations overturned. Seems too unbelievable to be true, but this is Scottish football.

Another good win for Pollok. Imagine them winning the league, there's one's on here who would take a fecking multi meltdown.

I was at a friendly at Airdrie when we played Linlithgow a few years back and their was a crowd around the 150 mark and no stewards.

There is some fans who don't see the draw of Civil Service Strollers, Dalbeattie and that ilk compared to a good old clash with Pollok and the likes. However in 20 years time we should have emptied all the dross from the LL and could be battling for third place behind Rangers & Celtic Colts.

Wasn't getting at you I seemed to have tagged you into my response to the Bankies rocket for some strange reason.

Firstly Pollok moved to the WOSL for the same reason as a lot of clubs they didn't want left in a football wasteland. Secondly I'm not sure Kilwinning have a licence. Thirdly If Talbot win the league you can be 100% sure they won't fling the play-offs. However if you really want to make sure this doesn't happen then knock us off the top of table.
