  1. St Mirren players are quids-in with so many win bonuses.
  2. If we do lose Robinson, Flynn could be an excellent appointment. He seems to be a sensible, likeable lad whose remit as our next boss would be to keep things going exactly as they are at present. Flynn would know exactly what Robinson has put in place, and both he and the existing players are already well-versed in the tactics that are working so well for us. It's essential that we don't bring in a new manager from outside (experienced or not) who would wish to impose different tactics. Our success has been based on a counter-attacking style combined with excellent fitness training and bloody hard work from every player from the first whistle to the last. Not that I expect Robinson to leave us, of course.
  3. There's no need for Robinson to rush into taking the Hibs job. Hang on couple of days and he can choose between the Hibs and Aberdeen jobs.
  4. If Baccus leaves this week St Mirren will receive "an undisclosed fee". Guess whatever figure you like, but we won't be told.
  5. On paper, St Mirren players are better and should win. On grass, St Mirren players are better and probably would win. On plastic, a lottery.
  6. When Gretna FC were shooting up the leagues while being "drugged up" by Brooks Mileson's filthy £millions their 'success' was (quite justifiably) regarded with disdain by fans of most other clubs. A club from a small town with a small fan base that had no right to be owning a space in Scotland's top division, albeit only for one season. It felt like cheating, not playing on a level playing field with the majority of Scottish clubs that exist hand-to-mouth every season and have to cut their cloth accordingly. Not entirely unlike Ross County IMO, a small club from a small town that surely wouldn't be dining at Scottish football's top table without many years of substantial financial support from Roy McGregor. I would question that Ross County are 'there on merit' any more than Gretna were.
  7. No way Hibs should consider appointing Stephen Robinson. He got sacked by Motherwell because he was so useless. A wee diddy team like St Mirren is his level. He'd be incapable of re-envigourating a sleeping giant like Hibs to the heights they ought to be achieving.
  8. Robinson could easily be tempted by the £££££ that Hibs would be able to offer him, but Hibs are a complete shitshow at the moment and, with the transfer window about to shut until January, he'd have little opportunity to change things. He must be loving it at SMFC right now, both on and off the park. Let's hope that's enough to tempt him to stay if Hibs do come calling.
  9. Duk was the worst player on the park today, and there plenty in red shirts to choose from. Heaven knows why it took Robson so long to hook him.
  10. Just wondering, with Small having returned to his parent club until this week, is there any chance that Southampton's league fixtures this season might count for the suspension ? Straws. Clutching.
  11. Oh, you win. I can't compete with your wit. BTW, big mouth virginton has been quiet tonight. Loves to hand it out, doesn't like it when it's rammed right up his shitter. Hiding from reality I suspect.
  12. A result out of the blue today. Well done Saintees, unexpected but well deserved.
  13. You're not very good at this, are you ? That reply is just nonsense. Maybe it's past your bedtime. Nightie night.
  14. Really ? Is that your best response ? You need to find a new scriptwriter. 0-3 to your relegation rivals, in your shoes I'd be worrying tonight.
  15. Nah, stick your case up your arse. Morton fans exposed their scrotums to us with their GIRUYs to SMFC fans pre-season, so eat it up now you Greenock titwanks.
  16. Where would Rangers be without Tavernier ? That's a contender for goal of the season at Dingwall today. Superb.
  17. Please. Please. Please. Please don't sack Lee Johnson. He'll turn things around soon. Definitely.
  18. Come on guys, Clyde were a baw hair away from a half-decent result today. Surely some signs of optimism from this display ???
