I would be absolutely amazed if Strain stays in Scotland after us.
He will comfortably walk into most Championship teams down south.

I woder if Bolton might be chucked straight into the mix.

I'd be ok with Offord going on loan.
I want to see more of Jamieson this seasion though. Not as an out and out striker, but I reckon he could well be the man to play the Kiltie role whilst he's out injured.

I'm not overly concerned about our striking options.
Last season it was based around having battering rams up front and being physical.
This year, whilst we still have that to an extent, we've added more pace and mobility.
We had one plan and one plan only last year. From looking at the squad, I'm more confident that we have a Plan A and, at very least, a Plan B when things aren't quite going to plan.

Might as well bring Ronan, Hladky, Popescu and Dorman back too.
We don’t always have to re-sign guys who were decent for us.
I think McGrath is a decent player. But barring his spell with us he has ranged from distinctly average to dog shit.
Even when he did play for us, if he wasn’t the penalty taker when we won the most penalties in living memory then I highly doubt we’d even still be talking about him.

Odd if the condition of the fee is the United must be promoted because Robinson was quotes as saying "We will receive a fee for Declan and have already targeted a replacement that we hope to sign today subject to a medical."
He seems fairly certain we're getting a fee.

I see some Aberdeen fans are still taking their scudding well.

I have a fear Kiltie will be out for a considerable time, which would be a real blow as he's about the only midfielder we have with any creativity.
On the other hand, young Fraser Taylor could be the one to step up.

If we replace Gallagher with Bedeau I’d be delighted with that.
It also feels as if we have received more transfers fees under SR that we did in the prior 30 odd years.

Gallagher has been class for us, but his back injury did take almost all of his non-existent pace away.
A shame as he was great for us. I reckon he’ll stroll the Championship. Best of luck to him.
As for us, let’s just hope the manager has at least 2 CB in mind now.

See that Vinegaard is going to la Vuelta, with Remco defending his title there. Not sure what Ineos are planning, but it sounds like Pogacar is giving it a miss and perhaps doing the Worlds in Scotland instead.
Geraint Thomas is Vuelta-bound.
f**k me. I just saw the Vuelta starts with a team time trial. Jumbo could have this wrapped up on stage 1.

I get that feeling. I still think it's the guy Presley as it refers to a deal done with his club . Still I think now that we have added Mandron , McMenamin and Nahmani we are not in a hurry . Think we need to sign a couple of defenders now .
That would be ludicrous if we have reached a deal for Pressley and they then risk injury by playing him in a friendly before he joins us. If it is him that’s just disrespectful and the club would be within it’s rights to be pissed off.

Fairly interesting tactics from Pog yesterday. Were his attacks in protest at Philipsen publicly scolding Eenkhoorn a few days ago when he tried to join the break? That was my initial thought when I saw him go off the front.
Piss poor from Jumbo following Pog too. You have 7.29 on the guy and we're in Paris for the final sprint. He's not taking that time back. Calm down lads.
From watching yesterday, it was evident Pog was in the bunch heading into the final corner. Word was that Vingegaard and Jumbo had sat up to roll in and crossed the line 2 mins down on the bunch sprint, but I see he still beat Pog by 7.29. Not sure how that worked out.

I don't get the hype behind Ibushi and never have TBH.
He's just another Japanese guy who wrestles blow up dolls.

Robbo pretty much confirms that Carson will be away. So for me, a GK, LB and one more ST and I'd be happy with the squad.
I would be surprised if all 3 of Olusanya, Jamieson and Offord are all here come the first league game. With another month to go of the window, there's plenty of time for comings and goings.
I'm comfortble that the management will have targets - other than the mentioned forward - in mind and we just have to be patient.
I'm delighted there's no rumours or hints at who else could be coming in. The business should kept totally under wraps until it's official. I think a massive section of the support just has to chill out a wee bit, be patient and see where we are come August 31.

The Philipsen incident was bizarre.
Why would Eenkhoorn not go and join his team mate up the road in a very small breakaway?
Ok he didn't win, but the breakaway did, so it was very clearly the correct decision.
Odd stuff.

Why anyone listens to a manager's answers when questioned by journalists abouyt tranfers is beyond me.
He's not going to sit and say we've got loads of cash and plenty of bodys incoming.
The window is open for another month. Calm fucking down.

As some who only watches F1 as their sole motorsport fix, I had no idea Nyck de Vries was such a diddy until he got a seat.

I'd be willing to bet that anyone who describes themself as a "respectable journalist" most likely isn't a journalist at all.

I think it's more perception than reality that Hibs sack managers frequently. We gave Jack Ross the bullet and Maloney soon after, and it appeared like the same fate might await Johnson but it didn't and he's still here and doing well. Prior to that you'd have to look at Heckingbottom for being another manager given relatively short shrift with those appointed either side of him given decent time.
You've had 8 managers in that last 10 years - not including caretakers. I don't think it's a stretch to say that Hibs, certainly in modern times, are pretty trigger happy when it comes to sacking managers.

It all seems very straight-forward to me.
The directors and Alan Wardrop will have their day in court.
If he can substantiate his claims with proof then he'll be laughing. If he can't? Well, that's literally the point of why it's in the courts.

Can you imagine what would be being said if this was Sky and Froome?
This looks like it could end up being the biggest winning margin since 2002.
There are actually folk claiming that Vingegaard took almost 2 minutes out of Pogacar in the TT because he "went round the corners a bit faster". Fucking hell.

Just learned who McAvoy was there. Didn't Hearts announce Naismith already as their boss? WTF is going on?

I'm seeing a fair few Tweets today saying that Vingegaard was on a very good day and that Pog blew up.
What a crock of shite. Pogacar blew everyone else away - including how many national TT champs?
He did not blow up, but Vingegaard went up the final climb about a minute faster than Pog - whilst on a TT bike.
If you can't see the obvious then you'll never suspect anything. f**k me.
Those pesky Danes really love doping, don't they?
