  1. Walking side by side with trolleys down the supermarket aisles, or parking the trolley sideways on in the aisle. Nudging you on the arse with a trolley when they queue behind you at the checkout because they've no fuckn spatial awareness.
  2. Women, and it's always women in shops, who buy a massive pile of messages, put them through the check out, pack them away then discover they have to fuckn pay for them! Into the bag to search for a purse, contemplate their method of payment and have a chuckle and debate with the till assistant. On occasions they have to remove things they've packed in one of their bags to access the purse. It's not the time lost which annoys me, it's the stupidity. Oh, and women in shops looking at the men's clothes. They hover around, often too close, and leave the racks in a mess.
  3. It's irrelevant what posters think of Shankland's ability to move on to a higher level. The decision will be made by whoever is prepared to pay most money.
  4. Congratulations to Hibs who deserve to progress to the next round, I thought both teams, but especially United, defended amateurishly but it made for an entertaining match. Pawlett, Sow and Reynolds stood out for me as being a waste of wages, while some of the other lads will have to raise their game playing at a higher level next season.
  5. They've no money to pay to other clubs. Even their own fans are starting to realise this. The big transfer talk this window for them is that a wee guy who turns 38 later on this year is signing permanently in the summer.
  6. Poor performance from United. Time wasting is part of the game and has been for years. It's down to the referee to sort it out, unfortunately today's referee was Andrew Dallas, an incompetent. It looked a fantastic save from Danny Rodgers deep in added time which conserved a point for Morton, to the extent that a member of the backroom staff went straight for him at full time to offer congratulations. Looking forward to seeing the replay of that and Sow's offside goal on 22 seconds. Most of the rest of the match is forgettable. Both goals had a similar look to them
  7. I expressed sympathy for Dundee, on the United v 'ton thread. You're posting on the same thread, claiming it's all about Dundee'. That's a paradox.
  8. See the Warriors have signed Abdelhak Massouaghou: he looked a very good player in a recent non-competitive game, very confident in his ability to attack players and fast/ direct. Looks like he has a decent shot on him. The only criticism would have been that he didn't always track players back, but he's young and could take that on board through time. Looks like he's been playing in the U19s rather than first team, but against sides which represent some of the strongest in France. I'm assuming he's here studying: anyone know?
  9. Hope Banks does well, and the club accrues further cash from add-ons. Regarding those hoping he falls on his arse, this as a lesson to other young players, I doubt it would be. Plenty have gone south and failed in a sporting sense, but their bank balance hasn't suffered.
  10. Fuckin delete your account Just being practical. And I'd rather watch us against Dundee than Hamilton/Livingston/Kilmarnock and so on.
  11. Boy with his arm in the air might be Ian Sneddon, while the blurry guy to his left, our right, looks a bit like Eddie Thomson who went on the manage Australia in later years. Hearts fans will have a better idea.
  12. Shotts Bon Accord v Pumpherston the 1958 Junior Cup Final, 33,000 crowd at Hampden.
  13. I know a few Dundee fans who would want us up if they were walking away with the league, for the atmosphere and finance. It might not be a popular view, but it's practical and sensible.
  14. The four teams behind United meet up at the weekend, not that it matters to us too much. The Pars have lost quite a few in a row, and I hope Dundee can win, and Ayr win at home to ICT. Mostly to give Dundee a better chance of second, because I'd be happier with them coming up in the play-offs to resume the top league derbies next season.
  15. I'll agree about McMullan today, but he's hardly been poor for a 'few weeks again' as he's been out injured for the last few weeks. Powers has had three games in Scotland: I've seen them all. I'll be pleased if he turns out to be an asset, but I'm not seeing it yet.
  16. Powers looks cumbersome, and a bit overweight. Maybe just very solid, but not seeing much about him.
  17. Hibernian must be less than happy with a draw, Martin Boyle was player of the match for me. Very good goals in the second half, pleased to get a replay.
  18. Hibs have been the better side, United's distribution is woeful, got to be pleased to get back level there. Siegrist and Shankland the only players getting pass marks so far.
